As far as new releases go, seems pretty tight. Only issue I've had is [9156], where militia refuses to wear armor under any circumstances.

Pretty minor, but I'm seeing a lot of books bound with demon and forgotten beast leather

Is that a bug or is your civ just incredibly awesome?

Yeah, I don't know about that sirvente. That sounds more like a feature.

They said the walls were impregnable. You didn't have to prove me wrong by giving birth on them.

Sometimes In adventure mode when you visit a place via fast travel the game will send you 2-3 world tiles away

In other news it looks like finally we will be able to build on tree tiles

YESSS! Superfrequent crashes goodbye! And hello to more I suppose but still, that was hell. Always checking to see if the trees would encroach on your buildings and crash the game, saving every five minutes when it seemed like it would, geez!

Now that I look closer I'm seeing Angel parchment in here as well, in a world where not a single angel, demon or forgotten beast has died and If I'm reading this right weresquirrel parchment is being used even though I don't see a single case of weresquirrelism in legends mode. I think the worldgen parchment and books are working like slabs do and are using materials that are spawned out of thin air instead of the stuff that the civ has access to.

Edit: Also there's a lot of animal man and merpeople parchment in here being used by civs whose ethics shouldn't allow that.

That's not new.
Not new like DF in general or in 42?

Would anyone who can generate worlds successfully be willing to upload some so those of us with the worldgen civilization-placement bug can still play in the meantime before it's fixed?
Same here. Can we get one of you generous people to generate a couple vanilla worlds and upload them somewhere so we can play? :)
Admiral Obvious was awesome and uploaded a 42.01 world over here: http://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=11350

Here's an (almost) Vanilla save!

You can play as a Forgotten Beast in Adventure Mode, sorry about that.

Please post about what happens when the Goblins siege you!

Yes, I was going to report it back here, but I forgot it was this thread I put it in. That and I forgot how to upload to the website. It's been a while since I've played DF.

Resolved! Toady said he was going to work on it after fixing world gen crashes. The man works quick!
