I dont like it because I think it is unnecessary to run a mod.
Out of context quote of the century from the owner (And presumably runner too) of the MW mod.

It's primarily good for centralizing your versions without having to keep backups of older versions locally.

Yes, Skyrim without mods is best. (the horror...)

I always go mad whenever someone tells me he plays a Bethesda game on console.

Just... why...

PS: Succubus update is complete with the exception of sprites, so bug me if you want to release something.

Books/scrolls/instruments/goblets with interactions and dances/rituals will be fun.

Is there any chance magic will be included in the next release? It was rather awesome in 6.2, especially being able to generate lava.

By the way, I confirm that you can write ingame help for custom reactions. No more confusion!

Spoiler: Looking good ingame (click to show/hide)

The raws :

(This particular reaction will be updated to use sand in the future, now that it is possible.)

We need dfhack released first, then we'll see how long it will take to port the magic to 0.42.

 :o

This is the best change to modders I have seen. Makes most of the manual, the most lengthy and time-wasting part, the buildings and reactions, unnecessary.

Second that motion.

The Easter Eggs of mythology and Sci-Fi are some of the best parts of DF and ☼MasterWork☼.  And fortunately for us, Meph has an interesting sense of humor:  a dwarf in the Tavern reads “a seemingly endless poem that nobody much remembers, about burning elephants,” and so raises the Creativity of everybody within 25 tiles (BoatMurdered).    A scribe copies The Tale of Cryptig for the library and who knows how many players are introduced by that to one of the more amazing DF episodes?

Odin’s gifts including Draupnir were actually worked by dwarves in the first place so, it’s a good fit.  Yeah, I had to Wiki that.
What on earth is the "tale of cryptig"? It is neither in the forums nor on google.

I think that was supposed to be Tholtig Cryptbrain, a dwarven queen who killed over two thousand elves.  She technically lost the war she was fighting in...because she (and most of her champions) died of old age.

I had a long, good look at 42.03 today. It does look very interesting and certainly opens up lots of possibilities and my motivation to mod. :) Tool and reaction descriptions are really helpful, I only wish Today would add those for all item types.

As someone stuck playing Masterwork 6.2, I can't wait until a new modern version is ready. If there is anything I can do to help let me know.
