Winter mage: Just your regular mage, but with winter based abilities
Marksman: Focusses on ranged combat and stealth
Druid: Plant and animal magics
Bard: Jack of all trades; supporting, ranged and melee combat, decent health and tons of utility
Paladin: Focusses on supporting and health

Name: Styn

Race: Greenskin (Orc)

Class: Paladin

Age: 21

Description:
Tall and green, as his racial name implies, Styn has a face covered in craters and welts. He speaks slowly, his lips seemingly permanently swollen and he breathes just as slowly and with great difficulty.He has a great amount of muscle covering his body although he does show his great love for food with a protruding stomach. His eyes are grey and are deeply sunken into his face making his already large nose pop out further and seem even larger than it truly is.

Backstory:
Styn is an orc, therefore he is violent, cruel and Naughty. At least, that's what most people think, the truth is different. The truth is that Styn is an orc and like most orcs he is violent, but unlike most orcs he does his best not to be cruel and Naughty. Styn has had to much experience with Naughty orcs. Styn was beaten as a child, for an orc this is not a strange experience. But, unlike most young orcs Styn did not take the pain that this caused him and allow it to fester, like most orcs did. Instead, he sat through his beatings for as long as he could. And then, one day, he snapped. That night he took on of his father's weapons, a mace and used it to brain his sleeping parents in a fit of orcish rage. After he had brained his parents, however, he realised what he had done and how it made him no different from his parents and from the rest of the orcs who beat him on a daily basis. And so Styn ran, he ran away from his home in Karampusz and he ran away from his Naughty heritage. And as he ran he vowed that he would become Nice.

I have one question: are we supposed to start with 8 + race + class for each stat and then distribute points or start at zero, distribute points and then and bonuses? What I've done is start at 8 and add bonuses but I feel like that's wrong.

All characters start with 8 points to spread on their stats, and they get stat bonuses for their class and race. All stats are zero by default, and can’t be less.

My bad, sorry. You can choose to spend your eight on whatever you like, but your class and race bonus have a set amount that must be added to the stats they're supposed to be added to.
