Everyone is transported out and gives up their equipment and is able to reteieved their stored goods on the way out.

The plasma pistol in his hand is suddenly replaced with this in a similarly unwarned, completely silent fashion.
Upon firing it is revealed to be an ordinary, if extremely worn-down, motorized revolver.
"I use armor-piercing rounds with it in case anything is too tough for my plasma pistol."

Victoria leaves the game area, retrieving her things. She more than likely walks past Haruka and 6AR, but does not notice them unless they say something.

"Hmm?  I left that phase years ago.  It's a hobby, Mom, nothing more.  Some people collect vases, I collect occultisms."

Alanis isn't lying, per se, but she's certainly not telling the whole truth.  She knows magic doesn't exist here yet, but oh does she want to be prepared should it happen.
