After a hesitant moment, Evridiki shakes Alice's hand.
"To be honest, half this shit doesn't even surprise me because there's something similar and also terrible back home for pretty much everything. I could go on and on about it, really. It's just that I'm not entirely sure what to do now that I'm here. My teleporter disappeared, so I can't just go back."

"Point of order:The only eldritch in this place is It That Embraces.  And maybe Grima but they don't count."

Oh hey, eldritch snuggle goddess, when did you get there? Nonetheless, there she is, lightly wrapped around Alanis as often seems to happen, her many eyes sliding amongst the crowd around her.


...Yamal is very confused.

Despite his earlier denial, Wilson has recently opened the spirits he nabbed and is dooking away.

Yamal is partaking of some of that herself! Savoring it, though.

The Primordial gives everyone else a wave, disengaging from Alanis for a moment. [Hello to all of you, too.]

Evridiki looks at It That Embraces, opens her mouth to say something... and then just sort of gives up on it, with a shrug.

"Listen, kid, I'm not scared of anybody. Except Caesar, and that ship lady."

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Point of order:The only eldritch in this place is It That Embraces.  And maybe Grima but they don't count."

"No. You are certainly all Eldritch. More human looking than what I expected, but looks do not prevent you from being Eldritch. Who are you talking about, this  It That Embraces and Grima?" Naturally Alice pulls out a notepad and pencil from their purse, ready to write and record everything they're told.

After a hesitant moment, Evridiki shakes Alice's hand.

Alice's grip is firm and steady as she shake's Evridiki's hand.

"This is all similar to what you experienced back home? Hmmm... In what way do you mean that? I am afraid that I cannot be of much help to you. I do not know how to return to my universe either. My apologies. If I do learn of anything helpful I'll be certain to tell you of it."

Alice turns to look at ItE and carefully adjusts her glasses. Her reaction is the same as if someone told her that it was raining in England.

[I come when I am called. Sometimes, at least. I am known as {It That Embraces}. If {Mio} leads this group, then I suppose you could perhaps call me their (compass/guide/direction/teacher)]

Without much effort, she hugs the both of them, feeling their warmth and texture and applying her own for a bit before letting go.

As an aside, to her less-new friend..

"Well, it's like... there are a lot of various groups that want to ruin the day of everyone onboard my station, and they pretty much cover half the "eldritch" stuff here.

For any sort of weird technology, there already are the Syndicate and the Spider Clan, for any sort of magic there is the Space Wizard Federation and there is the Cult of Nar'Sie, we've got aliens of every stripe in the changelings and the xenomorphs, and we've even got robots who sometimes go evil and try to kill everyone. And that doesn't even cover the occasional outlier stuff, like Mr. Copenhagen, any of those sorts of guys that show up out of nowhere and noone knows what they are.

And at least one of them attacks typically every shift and I'm one of the people who deals with their messes, so basically the only thing that surprises me at this point is ending up in a place I don't know."

She pauses when she is hugged, suddenly red-faced with embarrassment as the eldritch thing hugs her out of nowhere.
"W-wait, what are you-- huh??"
