The person, which is walking oddly silently, bonks straight into Eirika.

"Ack!"

The person reverses.  Literally just backs up and rotates a bit.

[SOLDIER First]

Eirika, obviously, looks at this person, because they bumped into her.

"Nice to properly meet you both." A hand is extended.

"So how do you guys find any of the... whatevers we're supposed to fight? Do they just happen to be wherever you go?"

Eirika, obviously, looks at this person, because they bumped into her.

They look nondescript and rather like Alanis.  Also, sort of...Bright.  Like literally bright.

"Sorry, practicing this for a special effects contest."

[SOLDIER First]

"You have made a copy of yourself.......... for a contest."
Intense nose-bridge-pinching action.
"All right. I see."
She then shakes Victoria's hand.
"It's nice to meet you as well.
I suppose we.. find them. I'm not exactly sure how. You do, however, happen to be looking at a similar being right now." She gestures to herself.

"Well, no.  Not a copy, but a convincing simulation of a copy.  Close enough, I guess."

[SOLDIER First]

More nose pinching.

[Twinwolf]

"...So find young women with purple hair?" The tone makes the joke obvious.

"More seriously, anything else? Do they have anything in common, or do they all look different?"

Alanis turns off most of the lights making the shape.  There's a big rock at the center of where the person was.

She then turns the lights back on.

[SOLDIER First]

Eirika fake laughs. "Very funny, though I'm actually referring to the bringer of the end of the world, if I may correct you.
The only thing they seem to have in common is a lust for destruction, actually. _{Perhaps moreso than said bringer of the end.} One seemed to be an enormous gelatinous... thing, another was a skeleton.."

[Twinwolf]

Victoria blinks. "...Alright. Going to assume you have that under control, to a degree."

[SOLDIER First]

"The worst I can possibly do is make vaugely threatening statements at people without remembering any of them and then go back to normal in a very short time. Thankfully this specific being can only manifest physically after a very specific ritual on a specific world, which I must be a part of, meaning they - and we - are completely safe from it unless I was to return."

Alanis continues walking the construct to the event.

"Oh, good. So... what are the things actually called? Can't just call them 'things we're supposed to fight' forever."
