So there I was, in a fake world, filled with decidedly fake fleshlings and told to fight something we knew next to nothing about. Something told me that they really didn't think this through, actually no, not something, everything. In between their childish bickering, their propensity to get distracted and not least of all how short sighted they were.
"But, this ship of yours, how would it let us protect everything? Wouldn't we still be limited to one location at a time? >__<"

"We were docked at a space station before, and it had something that could teleport us to other places, so no we weren't limited to one location if we split up. The ship got taken here by something that seems to be a deity in this world."

Anna also starts walking.

"The entire multiverse is technically a thing though.  But there really isn't much left here, yes."
Alanis wraps an arm around Sandra before gently steering her near to It That Embraces for snuggles.

"But there are other world right? And can't they consume the rest of the universe including things you need? Like the Sun? And if we can split up, we're still limited to one universe per person. Still small, and it seems hard to fight an entire war alone. We need to know what happens when they eat things. Otherwise we're fighting blind."

Sandra looks happier than she has for a while.

[I doubt we are the only ones protecting things. Given the quality of the group, it seems unlikely that we are the most qualified for the task, correct?[

"Which, the Trespassers or the Vertex? The latter seem to be limited to us. And if I'm honest, I don't quite know what's going on apart from being sent out to assist an effort to fight off these creatures.

As much as I'd like to theorise and assist you, I really don't know any more than you do."
Mio seems apologetic as she says that and nods to It that Embraces.
"Given the size of the multiverse, we're almost certainly not alone in protecting it."
