the photograph is of mio
To be quite frank, her house is humongous. The party manages to see the roof of her home over several rows of houses, and when they actually do get to the front gate of the compound, Chizuru was also right in that the name 'Honda' is written in large, golden letters on the left side of the gate in Japanese, should anyone be capable of reading it. The gate itself is large, metal and quite imposing.
Mio, after nodding to Eirika in the affirmative, strolls over to a keypad on the left, quickly taps in a keycode, and leads the party into her compound through a side gate that swings open. She stays back to close the gate.
Truly, her tracts of land are impressive. The pathway the party is walking alongside follows along a larger, white brick path that fits at least two cars at once. On the sides, a large garden surrounds the actual house and pathway itself, with a pond to the front and left of them. To the far right of them, they walk past a small hut with a small path leading to it from the main area, with a stone basin outside filled with water and a small entrance that seems to require people bend or crawl to get in. with a small scroll mounted on top. Anyone versed with Japanese culture would understand that to be a structure used for tea ceremonies.
The actual house itself is rather large indeed. In contrast to the traditional architecture of the tea house, the main residence is quite modern, with large glass panes for windows, white paint finish and generally well-done and tasteful architecture. Directly to their left, the garage is present, marked with a great black door, and to their immediate right, a small path can be seen leading to the back garden. Mio fishes under the floral pattern mat to grab her key, opening the way into the actual home at last.
They walk into a rather large living room. It is fairly tastefully decorated with traditional paintings, modern furniture and a large home theatre. The dining room is visible to the far end of the room, and divided from the rest of the room, a corridor leading to the rest of the house. Despite its large size, however, it seems rather......abandoned, except for an old man in a nice suit, who slowly tilts his head at the party. He smiles when he notices Mio.
"Ah. Miss Honda. You've returned. And you've brought guests. I didn't expect you'd be back so soon, but it's good to have you back nonetheless."
Mio returns the smile, as if to an old friend.
"Taro, it's good to see you again! Um.....I'm sorry to act so unhospitable, but could you see if Fukuhara left anything for us? He said he'd be leaving something for my friends around this time. I'm really sorry about this."
The old man, presumably Taro, gives her a curt nod. Before he leaves, he turns to her.
"No problem, Miss Honda. It is what I am here for, after all. Shall I provide refreshments for your guests?"
"No, I'll do that.
Everyone, welcome to my house. That man is Taro, my butler and an old family friend. So.....I guess.....make yourselves comfortable, for now."
Mio's friends then seem to pull out chairs from thin air-actually, they've been around enough times to know where to look- and sit around on them, sitting around a large coffee table with surrounded by two black sofas, facing the aforementioned home theatre.
