Alice nods in agreement, "Some tea would be nice right now. I'm certain that we could all use a drink at the moment. Being thrust into such a strange situation has been quite stressful. I would offer to help but... I have no idea where it is kept."

They might have heard a teakettle whistling earlier.

Well screw Alanis, because Penelope goes to make her own tea anyway.
"I'll be back in a bit with tea for both of you, then."

Wilson waits.

"I'll come and help. It will be useful for me to know where everything is in the future. I might want to make myself a cup of tea after all," Alice comments.

[SOLDIER First]

"..I want to see what tea is."

"You don't have tea? Not even small packets?"
Penelope wonders as she goes to find another kettle and scrounges some tea to make it with.

[SOLDIER First]

"No.."

[USEC_OFFICER]

"How odd. Tea is a quite popular drink in my world. I suppose that we can't expect all of our universes to share the same similarities," Alice comments. She turns to Penelope and adds, "Make sure to pick a traditional variety of tea. With everything that Wilson has been through I am certain that he would not appreciate something too strong or overbearing."

"Well, there's a first time for everything, right?"
Penelope holds up a small packet of unbranded tea extract.
"A friend of mine's a tea brewer. She gave me this as a sample. Might this suffice?"

[USEC_OFFICER]

"I don't know. What effects does it have? If it is traditional or very mild I am sure that it would work. I will leave the matter up to your judgement, since you would know better than me."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"She said it's traditional. I'm no good with tea, so.....let's hope it's good."
And Penelope sets about making tea.
