I'm just going to note that Victoria is from a version of Earth where she could reasonably recognize a lot of characters' settings, but has not been overly meta beyond talking with Alanis about tropes.

Because if you do not you are going to get absolutely nothing but arguing IC and OOC if you do not. Alanis will serve no constructive purpose in the RP and there will just be more arguing. It usually gets dragged back to the meta arguing because Alanis brings up the meta stuff and argues for it.

Honestly I think part of the problem with her continually bringing meta stuff up is that Alanis has no sympathetic ears to vent to.

There's absolutely no-one willing to even give her the benefit of the doubt.

Victoria pretty much outright stated that it'd be fine if she said that kind of thing with her as long as she acknowledged that similar does not necessarily mean the same.
