A Long Night
« on: October 26, 2015, 10:13:16 pm »

You are in a dark forest. Noises surround you; howls and cries and chants. You shine dimly in the darkness, and a little spark of fear appears inside you. As the sounds grow louder and closer, what do you do?

Dig a shallow hole, crawl in it, and cover myself up, but leave my face mostly uncovered so I can see and breathe. Alternatively, hide in a dead, hollow tree.

Let's go with the hollow tree idea.

Glow very brightly and scare the monsters off by pretending to be the Sun.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

I didn't really understand why I died until I discovered I was teleporting my own spine into my enemies' body as a primary way of attack.

You wander a little, fear filling you as a strange grumbling noise becomes the dominant sound. Your light shines a little brighter as a shiver shakes you. Stumbling over a hollow log, you quickly duck into it just as a strange beast walks into sight.

Maybe hiding isn't going to work so good.

Hmm...I'm not too sure what to do.

Crawl out of the log and greet the beast.

Make the most predatory growls and roars possible from within the log. Pretend I'm the vicious Wood Wolf!
