I convince the tourmekians to let me live by providing hints on how to obtain resurective immortality, unfortunately I end up in a yet another cage because of this and thus I "lose".

The Torumekians, for reasons involving the emporer of an enemy nation, genetic mutation, an unbeliveably lucky young girl believed by pagans to be a goddess, a goant monster robot thing, and lots, and lots pf blood, they decide that immortality is a terrible idea, and instead toss the thing that was in the cage into a massive poisinous forest full of giant insects that borders their lands.
Whew. That took a long time to say.

I don't know, all that heavyweight armor and melee weapons strike me as a poor match against a giant rocket launcher.
Unless it's all particularly blastproof, in which case, well...Damn, I guess.

Rockets are probably not that hard to dodge. And you definitely don't want an Ys character to dodge your attacks.

Crawling out the toxic jungle I scramble  into a rocky crevice narrowly dogging a hail of arrows pointed in my direction, still at a massive disadvantage I shout "I surrender" from my hole.

If you have problems with a measly thicket of arrows, you'd probably been killed by a dwarf many time over...

Scrafty uses whatever that quick attack esque fighting move is, killing the dwarf before he has a chance to strike. Then Scrafty gets Moxie, powering him for the next fight.

My rose and heart are made of energy, and incongruent with and lacking motivation to harm Scrafy. Draw.

A rose would wither in space from lack of water.
But why would it be in the vacuum of space in the first place? It would probably be in the hydroponics bay of a spacestation or spaceship.
