Now it just seems disjointed.

Hum. Let me try explaining the concept this way: Could you imagine living in the same confined space with Zero for seven years and minimal contact with the outside world? If you would not enjoy it, then odds are is the other characters wouldn't enjoy it either. Now change the personality till it's tolerable and you're golden.

These people are likely close friends, unlikely to have done this. I can't see them wanting or allowing a self centered narcissistic asshole they just met in their midst.
If he "helpfully" Invested 50% of the cost to get over here on the other hand, and went broke...
In general, this is a group of people who see this undertaking as the best way to live out their ideals, and they have embarked upon it together because they believe they share a vision. Whether or not they do is not yet known, but barring a good justification, they should, to at least some degree, buy into the idea of a self-sufficient lifestyle independent from society.

Name: Heigstromm Eight-Three (Security Issue) [strict designation A4247Γ, referred to as Thomas]
Type: Android (inhuman body plan)
Gender: -N/A-
Age: 20
Appearance/Description: An erratic, tall drone with the cast of a collapsing scarecrow, this Heigstromm unit boasts an unreliable control feed and suspicious, skeletal nature, concerns mitigated by its tendency to communicate back to human masters in friendly notes. The Heigstromm carries on two parallel racks of armatures all manner of articulated digits, used to carefully manipulate sensor equipment, perform extremely delicate field sampling, and occasionally force an intruder's eyes into the back of their skull. Its fragile, ectomorphic build leaves little to be desired for stability and endurance, but its speed and precision render it able to keep pace with trained humans. Has recently been showing disturbing signs of memory accumulation, due to infrequent maintenance and an occasional inability to be located.

The Heigstromm, specially designed to operate in situations that require sorting and confinement of confusing levels of external stimuli, features a cortical structure derived somewhat from that of a small insect (namely a hybrid between the Terran dragonfly and ant).

A vast array of parallel-processing circuits allow fractional processing and layering of environmental detail; the longer the Heigstromm spends analyzing a particular area, the more "filters" of color, shade, chemical composition, motion tracking, and tactile sensation drop in.

Where the human thought process primarily relies on convoluted maps of mental imagery to conduct abstract thoughts, the Heigstromm draws on memory banks and reconstructs crude mimic scenarios directly in its perception, similar to the process of hallucination in human subjects.

This approach grounds it concretely in reality, as a safeguard against the development of moral, aesthetic, philosophical, and religious concepts, all highly dangerous to the fractured and decentralized "brain" of an operating drone. It is clear that with Thomas, this design intention has failed.

Background: former operations robot aboard a comet-chaser.

Noticed that I had missed two commas that somewhat change the ends meaning, And rewrote some of the center Of the Personality...

An ex-assassin seems fine as long as he shares the ideals for the colony.  Maybe he even was encouraged to quit because of them?  Or he could be faking it just to get away.

Name: Terry "Mech" Waterson
Type: Cyborg
-Bio-electricity 245 food upkeep
-Carapace
-Neural Interface

Gender: Male
Age: 37

Appearance/Description: A short man with gray-silver skin, a large, broken nose, thin mouth and a weak jaw line.  He is bald thanks to the augmentation, although he often wears wigs, he has brought a single one with short black hair.  His eyes are brown but covered in a reddish cover while in space.

Background: Terry saw the newest advances in human augmentation first hand as a son of biotech and cybernetics engineers.  He was looking to get into that field as the first laws were passed restricting such technology to medical and military use.  He has been involved in politics around transhuman rights and science advancement for over a decade, getting small changes to the laws bit by bit.  His political party was recently outlawed as a terrorist organization and forced to disband.

He is generally optimistic and seeks to create a better world for everyone, he believes that scientific advancements will do that and should not be fettered by fear and superstition.

I'll be waiting for more submissions, since I'll be evaluating the sheets and want to give more people a chance. I probably should have mentioned it's not first come, first serve. Sorry about that ._.

I'm reusing a character that I submitted for an RP that never got off. Tell me if you have any questions.
Just for my own reference:
Spoiler:  Old Character Sheet (click to show/hide)
EDIT: FIXED spelling and stuff.
Do note that, what with being on an asteroid, gravity will be negligible. She could probably sort of fly (or "airswim" I guess) indoors, with, perhaps, the catch of the membranes/wings getting in the way of things (like wearing a standard space suit).

Spoiler: Fee: (click to show/hide)

Should anyone decide they want to be the one Fee followed, feel free. Otherwise it shall remain ambiguous.
I wonder where such specific mutation came from, but it's alright if IC people don't know. It'll probably be hard for her to meet her dietary requirements, but not impossible.

Name: Vishnu III
Type: Android
Augmentation: Six arms
Gender Male
Age:27
Appearance: Blue Skin, red eyes, bald head.
Background: A servant android trained in most human languages and gardening skills.
One must wonder who, amongst this group focused on independence an self-sufficiency, brought a servant bot. Not impossible (and waiting for further submissions to see if anyone might fit), and perhaps even a source of ideological tension later, but a bit incongruous for now.

So can we get a general "Start time"?
Depends on submissions, and how long it takes to rework character sheets. This weekend, I think. Don't quote me on that.

Name: Valerie Kain
Type: Cyborg, Bio-electric power source
Augmentation: Robotic prosthetic on the left arm, from the elbow down. Robotic right eye.
Gender: Female
Age: 30
Previous Occupation: Marine Corps
Appearance: Val has regulation length brown hair, bright green eyes, and skin the color of milk chocolate.
Personality: Val is a very fiery person. If she's not angry, yelling, and cursing up a storm, she's either having a good day(unlikely), or something is very, very wrong.
Background: Val served in the Corps for most of her life, participating in a number of different campaigns. She lost her arm to an artillery strike that hit way too close for comfort, and her eye to an insurgent who got a lucky shot off with his pistol.
What are her reasons behind joining up with these people?
