Chara looks at Jason nervously and takes a step away. After a second of thought he takes another one.

"Oh, that's cool! I never like wearing my headband over my ears. It hurts.

Daniel looks around, still wearing his eye patch. He stands in a proper way, not weighing on one leg, or locking the knees.
So these are the people I will attend with? But none of them are like me.

Lydia wobbles a little, as if overbalancing. The arm twitches a little.
"Still not used to them yet, really. I... don't really like them much, all things considering."

Jason looks at everyone who stepped back

"Not being able to look at people altho thuckth.

Zack pulls out a small metal rod, and seems to draw a shape in the air. The end of it bursts into flame for a moment, which then sputters out quickly.

"It lasted 3 more seconds than last time!"

Alan looks at the ball of fire, disinterestedly.  About a half liter of water then drops on it.
"I have to say, I really like being able to do that.  Instant hydration, just add magic."
"As for fireworks, we're in a bloody DORM, that's not a thing anyone wants to show off inside.  Magically induced fires are hard to explain.  Then again fire forensics hasn't really caught up to any version of reality so eh."
