The First Part of Knowing Everything
« on: September 20, 2015, 09:46:36 pm »

You wake up in a grassy plain; you're not sure how long you've lain, but you do know that you don't really know anything.

A simple choice lies before you: where to?

You climb a tree to see farther than you could.

To the right, the ground rises, the grass dies away to coarse tufts as the plains give way to hills. The other way, the trees thicken to a forest, a list of plants you don't know the names of. Maybe you should make some up?

Break a branch off the tree and go right. I don't trust forests. Creatures live in forests.

+1, but it should be the 'F' branch. Going right takes us uphill, which is always better.

Just wondering, what do you use to make pixel art?

Paint.net! It's free and IMO really good, so I'm pretty happy with it!

Look at the tree we're standing on. In the leaves, there is something that looks like an F.

Ah, I see you. Iiiii see it now :P.

You climb back down, the ground beneath your feet. You decide to break a branch and take it with you on your way.

You push, put your whole weight on it, and the branch begins to sway, almost giving way when you hear a deep, slow and curious voice say, "Who is trying to take my branch?"
