Felix swings AGAIN, nodding to Trent and Oliver.

"Trent, you stay safe! Oliver, once you finish with that target, move onto another one!"

Basement
You test the door and it swings open in a show of dust. It seems that none of the doors are locked either as one or two are ajar.

Goblin Hunting
(Xifeg is starting to look worn down.)

Cleansing the temple
You and flare each do three damage to the undead. With a mighty cleave you bisect the skeleton and its collapses into a heap of bones. You feel the darkness in this place weaken slightly.

Felicia cautiously proceeds through this door.

[Twinwolf]

Tactic repeats again, of course.

[Beirus]

Beirus goes to check the chest while Flare watches to make sure the skeleton is actually finished. If the cross fragment is there, Beirus grabs it and heads back to the main room with Flare.

Goblin Hunting
(Autoing) The rest of the fight goes by in a flurry of blows. Felix, Roderick, and Callista do another 24 damage to Xifeg before he goes down. Felix is reduced to 22HP, Roderick to 14 and Oliver to 25. Oliver slayed one goblin and went onto fighting another. Felix slayed Xifeg. Roderick killed 2 normal goblins. Callista killed the other 3. One tried to flee, but Trent stopped her. It was collectively slain without fighting back due to the vines. You now stand covered in both your blood and goblin blood. Goblin screams can be heard on the outskirts of the village, but they flee at the sight of their dead leader.

Basement
The door leads to a ruined kitchen. There is a disgusting rotting smell coming from this room. It seems as if something has been here because there are scratch marks around and the debree is more scattered. Something has been here, but you cant tell how long ago.

Cleansing the Temple
Inside the chest you find the cross fragment sitting on a pile of gold, gems, and other treasure. It glows with the same yellow light as the crystals. The skeleton doesn't move, it seems that its dead for good now.

Felicia takes her axe off her belt, holding her torch in the other hand. She starts looking around the room.

[FelixSparks]

Felix takes this opportunity to loot Xifeg's corpse, curious to see what kind of items, weapons, and keys this one might have on him.

"Think this counts as mission clear?" He grins at Callista, then to Oliver and Trent. "That was FUN!"

[Beirus]

Beirus grabs the cross fragment and heads back to the main room. He isn't sure exactly what is or isn't cursed down here, and he figures he can always come back after completing the cross.

Basement
You look around the room, but see no monsters. It seems whatever was here has come and gone. You locate the source of the awful smell, its coming from a locked refrigerator. There are many deep claw marks on the fridge door.

Goblin Hunting
Xifeg was wearing nothing but a tattered pair of leather pants and wielding a large two handed maul made of stone and wood. Besides that he had nothing on his corpse.

Cleansing the Temple
As you enter the main room the cross fragment leaps out of your hands. It zips through the air and hovers over the alter. The light of the crystals increases slightly and becomes less yellowed.

[Twinwolf]

"Should we go after the rest?"

[Beirus]

Beirus continues on through the room to the other exit with Flare.

[FelixSparks]

"Hmmm... I think we should... but I ALSO think we should loot what we can and leave before someone keels over."

Felix claims the maul as his own!

"I asked if driving them off was enough earlier and you said no, so..."
