Jace, from in his faraday cage, lifts his emerald into the air and the crystals near him respond. They pull themselves free of the flesh, shape themselves into spears and streak out towards Tso and John at ballistic speed. [1,5] Three of the spears hit Tso, one through the head, another through the throat and the third through the heart. He's dead three times before he even hits the ground. Only one spear hits John, and it catches him straight in the head. His body is thrown back and down, flexing the spring to its limits, but his base remains planted. After an instant he rebounds, jiggling violently and laughing. He uses the force of the rebound to hurl himself forward and into Jace's cage. He gets himself stuck in the cage wall, his spikes firmly embedded, but the radiation and electricity find their way in. [3] Jace doesn't die; but he is in very bad shape. Irradiated and smoldering, he won't  last long.  His Bladder control is already gone!

And Mike, well his target is gone, so he kind of just stands there.
