I don't care if a few presses of 'pg up' would achieve the same result, it's too much effort.

I'm using a laptop with a track pad, no mouse wheel for glorious scrolling.

The up and down keys are much more natural for me to use  .

That little blue thing at the side of the screen. I just pull it down. I don't think I have ever used the home or end keys either :p.

All the time, though I really don't notice using it  . I only realize I use it all the time because the delete key on my laptop keeps falling off whenever I move my computer more then a hundred miles in my truck. Then I try to type without it and I feel myself hitting the nonexistent key, and it weird.

Well why do you find it so abhorrent using the keys around that then?

The escape key on my laptop disappeared somewhere... the button still works though. I can still play games on it, thankfully.

I don't think I use delete except when I'm intentionally setting out to use the delete key for whatever reason.
And I have that greatest of things a wireless mouse/never need to scroll when I don't have a table.

I don't like my use of the thing to rely on my access to batteries a wired optical mouse shall suffice.

I'd prefer an angel though. Probably more plot armour...
