tntey: I'm working on a program for doing the tedious parts that ought to require little human input so I can focus on the softer things. Also, other prospective YG GMs may find it useful in the near future (i.e. hopefully it reduces the free time threshold enough that most anyone can run a similar game with more than 20 players).

Spiderking50: Confirming what others have said, anyone with enough skill/ability can use magic. I predict gods will rarely use magic with the exception of a few undiscovered slots.
hector13: It's currently one affinity, and it's not strictly required, but it flags all members of the creation as having at least inborn novice ability in the path. Whether novice ability is enough to do anything is left to whoever designed the school.
gman8181: I've updated the reference post. Influence is now a bit of a bigger thing and can replace worshipers to a much greater extent.
