Removal of a Post from Canon4) Removal of a post from canon is possible if the post in question has been voted to be removed.
4a) The vote is to take place in a poll that lasts a period of twenty-four hours.
4ai) The poll is only valid if more than five people post a vote that isn't abstaining.
4b) If a post is reconned out, then the poster must place the post in question within a spoiler tag that has a warning labeling it non-canon.
4c) An exception to this rule is if something is in violation of any rules on this list, wherein it must be immediately put in a spoiler declaring it non-canon.
Collapse of the Setting5) A reset of the setting can be done only in only specific conditions
5a) The thread must be over twenty-five pages long in a twenty-five posts per page format.
5b) The collapse of the setting requiring a restart cannot be instantaneous. It must be done over a large total of posts involving a majority of active posters.
5bi) 'Large total of posts' is defined as a total of posts involved in the event that is at least five pages of twenty-five posts per page in length.
Originality6) The usage of entities from popular culture that have not become archetypes or are prevalent in many different published canons is not allowed.
Focus7) Do not state immensely generalized actions.
7a) 'Generalized actions' are defined in this case as any action including 'infinite', 'many', or anything lacking a decent-sized description.
7ai) 'Decent-sized' is defined as having at least having ten words.
<optional> Keep your creations limited to the starting system, so that they can be mapped and to keep the game focused. As it is believed lack of focus is what killed the last game, it is advised to stick to this rule.
Methodology of War9) War works on an advantage system wherein a race who has gotten the advantage thrice in a row from their actions has won the war.
9a) The civilization with the advantage in the war cannot make a strike again until their opponent has reacted.
9ai) The first civilization to strike in a war is automatically given the advantage, with the civilization struck given the disadvantage.
9aii) Other civilizations may intervene in a war to degrade a side's status.
9aiiA) The side in question cannot have be at the disadvantage.
9aiiB) The side with the disadvantage is not upgraded due to this.
9aiii) The side with a disadvantage can then act to upgrade their status and degrade the opponent's status.
9aiv) When two civilizations have at least a neutral status, they can attack each other at will, so long as rule three is not violated.
9b) If the goal is to exterminate an opponent, the victorious race has to get the advantage six times in a row from their actions.
