A mod that removes current trees, and replaces them with 1 or at most 2 tile variants.

Second.  I think possibly just removing the leaves would give you a boost in performance.

Would be neat to have a plant that could be refined into something that could then be turned into soap. I've always found soap irritatingly hard to produce because it depends on a solid tallow income (which is by default used in cooking, ugh)

"Proper zombies" mod

-Only way to kill a zombie is to decapitate it or take out the brain

-Getting bit (and the bite breaks the skin) by a zombie will give the victim a syndrome that causes them to die and reanimate as a zombie. As reanimated zombies, they too can bite and infect other living beings.

-Other physical attacks that break the skin have a smaller chance of giving the victim this syndrome.

-Zombies in large groups will form hordes that wander the map

-They move slowly (the absolute fastest they can go is regular walking speed)

Also, does anyone know a mod that gives multiple sets of arms or legs?

Easy-ish. Just create a new template thingy and apply it to creatures.

(I have almost no idea what I'm talking about. My greatest mod was making it so magma furnaces could slowly create metal from nothing.)
