The Megatransport is registered to be 17km away from the ground, that's about as highest the atmosphere goes.

Naked eyes can't see it, even Zander's scope couldn't see it.

Then the Yahweh points it's largeass telescope that could look at individual craters of the moon at it then you get visual confirmation.

Yes, it looks to be a dragon. But without size comparison, your only guesstimate is 'Megatransport-sized' which is the largest a VAI is programmed to identify something.

The Dragon's moving fast, but not supersonically so.

Still, fast as fuck for something that size. Maybe because it's not loaded with a bunch of stuff like a Megatransport would.
