"It's going to work. Give them enough time and those buggers would find anything." Steve insisted.

"Ok"

Frazz goes back to getting customized gear for his KillBolds, and sending them through initial training

People are unsure how to Train the bolds.. but giving them some neat uniform with boots, strap vest and light Kevlar as well as putting them through initial Training to adjust to Modern world as well as understand the fundamentals, basic usage of electronics and understandings of what is dangerous such as Cameras and so is going to cost you at least 10* per 'bold.

You have 24 Cutebolds with you and it's going to cost you 240* to give them all customized gear [Sans weapons] and 'Initial Training.'

With your answers inconclusive, Steve just shrugs and go back to doing whatever he's been doing. Figuring that you didn't want his help.

Frazz coughs up the needed money, as well as some cash for when Chad and buddies return. He spends the remainder on small arms.

(Frazz had about 400 pre-donation))

"Sure, what's up?" The ever-helpful Steve said as he came over to help you out in what you need.

Frazz couldn't buy any small arms for his Kobolds, none of them are trained to use firearms yet and Logistics absolutely, positively 100% certainly refuse to sell weapons to you so you can arm a bunch of Alien immigrants with it.

Meanwhile, basic adjustment training and indoctrination for the captured villagers have been completed. Amber's mother were given new vat-grown limbs and re-educated on how to use them thanks to Vigil's money.

The Elders, women and children are put to good work within the company. Mostly kitchen work as they are more or less experienced with handling foodstuff already, additional training were given so that they don't burn down the kitchen.

It was the easiest thing to get into, children prepping raw food material [as weird as cube pigs are, they're still pigs. Kind of.] while the women cooks under the instruction of company chefs.

the Elderly were a bit more of a challenge in finding something for them to do, as not even janitorial jobs are worth letting them touch. In the end they just have the Elderly serve food at the new canteens that's built Gaia-side to feed Gaia-side employees. Women and Children were soon moved to Gaia-side kitchens as well.

DNA tests on every subjects also indicate that, yes. The missing Gate teams as well as their assets during the Cowbell Incident seems to be their Ancestors by a large number of generations.

Frazz also lost his Kobold fur suit when they were all sent to Basic company training and indoctrination.

Frazz personally goes with them since A. It counts as reeducation to make Tal Happy and B. to make sure the company doesn't try anything weird

"Mm.. Something we really should get around to doing is setting up a barrier around the main compound. Magi, suit up. Lets just get that done so it's ready to be fueled on an as needed basis."

All of the Magi that isn't busy suits up to go help Tal make protection wards around the main compound, it probably looks so weird to the outsiders. What with Eldritch runes being carved into the wall and floor then monkeys being sacrificed in some weirdass ritualistic ways. There goes Akras at it and being weird again!

Frazz is directed back to his mandatory class, which is different from the Basic education and Indoctrination that the Kobolds are getting.

The Educators there can and will shoo Frazz out from the class if he refuses, he's got his own class to take and the Educator's time is very precious. He's got no time to waste with people or dragon disrupting his class.

"I'm thinking a toggled No Mans Land with a central node within the compound for powering it. Maybe one of the inner rings sequenced so it recycles energy thrown against it into the barrier."

"Might take us weeks to finish something like that, boss. Damned thing's going to be massive. Maybe the Magis you recruited could help?" One of them asked.

"Course it'll take time. That's why we're starting now rather then when we need it. The Gaian Magi most definitely can help if they want."

Using modern technology and graphic designing, you'd be able to design and plan the massive runes before hand. With each bit seperated into segments, one can easily start copying a printed segment of theirs and join up with the others later.

Even the Gaian Magi that never touched such unholy eldritch magic of yours could do it, they're good at being careful and drawing wards aren't the hardest of things for them, especially as your wards are so symmetrical. Rulers are definitely a big help.

They do express their concern at the unholy eldritch powers that you're invoking, though. It worries them, it feels wrong.
