Yeah, we kind of made an end-run around magic requirements by using a byproduct from how we power the purely mechanical stuff as a source of mana.  I'm sure myew could look it up.  Though most of this isn't magic.  Just really advanced...hmm, natural philosophy?  Or science, I don't know if you have an analogous word."

I'd be able to extend the time my enchantments were active if I didn't have to power them myself. Heh, but I've done well enough with an hour at a time." He'd glance to Fel. "ah, unless that's what you mean about an end run... either way, yes, a bit more of a tour before I start trying to get into experimenting would be nice."
