Lachlan rips one of his sleeves off, preferably a clean one, and uses it as a makeshift bandage.

"Ow... Oh no, it stings now... Oh my god it stings a lot OUCH HELP."

Alex rushes over, tearing off his t-shirt sleeves. As he takes his shirt off, many scars are visible on his torso. He quickly puts hsi knit sweater back on, then uses his t-shirt as a makeshift bandage for her wound. "Anyone got any alchohol? Or some other disinfectant?" He wets the wound, to clean out any dirt, before bandaging it.

"We should probably find something to disinfect that as fast as possible. Like alchohol. Anyone got any?"

Up ahead of the group the fortress looms. Its walls are made of tied together logs, giving it a frontiersy feel. That feeling is disrupted by the two corpses hanging from its watchtowers, tongues hanging from their mouths as they sway in the light night breeze.

[SOLDIER First]

"Do I have to, um, wrap it around my torso?"

"Do I have to, um, wrap it around my torso?"

"Yes, obviously."

Alex looks towards the fortress, walking towards it with a calm confidence.

[SOLDIER First]

"Okay, I was making sure.
So, um. Everyone face some way that is not towards me."

"Okay. Make it quick."

Lachlan loads a few rounds into the hunting rifle, counting how many bullets he has left.

Well Alex is facing the fortress, so he's looking away anyway. He walks up to the door and knocks on it.

[SOLDIER First]

"Thanks..."

Taking her shirt off at the speed of light and hastily wrapping the shirt-bandage around herself, wincing all the while, Erica is very concerned that she is not wearing upper undergarments.

I swear I had them on when I went to bed... This is so embarassing...
"Okay, done.."

"Goo- aww, did that kid just knock on the gates? I hope to god no-one is home..."

Gerald hops into the brush, apprehensive of potential threats.

"Okay. Make it quick."

Lachlan loads a few rounds into the hunting rifle, counting how many bullets he has left.

Ten, plus the five you have in the rifle.

Inside the fortress appears to be empty, the only sign of habitation in the main courtyard being the occasional huddled bundle of rags and bones. The fort is made up of a courtyard, an armory, the walls, six watch towers, a bunk house and a central building, all made out of wood. The central building is packed with corpses, most of them dead of what appears to be self-inflicted gun shot wounds or lacerations. This place seems safe, despite the death that visited it.
((Alright, this is your new home base. Feel free to mess around in it, clean it up, shore up the walls or whatever. I'm going to bed, everyone out in the woods feel free to either make your way to the fort or dicker around in the dark. Night.))

Erica slowly enters the fort, looking around the inside.
"This is so creepy... It's like they all just dropped where they were..."

Gerald walks around, testing the strength of the boards and poking the corpses.

"These things are old."

[SOLDIER First]

"I-I guess...
Hey, uh, were there any other girls with any of you?"
