A roar that's quite familiar to Lachlan sounds out through the trees and the sound of something large coming towards the group can be heard.

Erica gently pats Alex on the shoulder.

He doesn't respond, just keeps playing his game, little sounds popping up now and then.

Hey kid, want to come with us? It isn't safe out here."

He looks up, sniffling. He wipes his eyes. "Su-Sure. As long as you tell me if I ge-get something wrong. So I don't get my hopes up and have another meltdown. If you could just explain things that we see or hear, that would be nice."

[SOLDIER First]

"Okay, we will, after we run from that loud goat person noise..."

Gerald stumbles out of his hole, and looks around.

He pockets his Gameboy, standing up. "A go-go-goat person? Like the Devil from my-my-myths and stuff?"

"I don't know... the only one I really saw had, um, a big ax."

Lachlan loads a new clip into the rifle, before heading towards the wooden fortress he saw earlier.

"And run we will. Move, move, move!"

He begins running towards the fort on Lachlans command

Erica follows, clutching her book.

Gerald stumbles out of his hole, and looks around.

You are in a forest at night. You can get a faint whiff of incense from a small clay bowl next to the grave. In the distance you hear a horrible scream.

Lachlan loads a new clip into the rifle, before heading towards the wooden fortress he saw earlier.

"And run we will. Move, move, move!"

From out of the woods the thing from before approaches, skittering towards the group on too many legs. The light of the Gameboy allows more details to be glimpsed of its face. It looks almost human, if human mouths stretched around the head and were filled with sharp teeth, and if human skin was a rotting grey and stretched around a horribly round head. Its yellow eyes burn and it screams towards you.

[SOLDIER First]

"Oh MY GOD DUDE RUN, HOLY-- HOLY SHIT!"

"WELCOME TO THE PARTY, KIDS, NOW EFFING RUN!"

Lachlan takes a shot at the thing's eye, then bolts off in the same direction as the kids.

While he is running, Alex talks to Lachlan "OKAY,  I WOULD RATHER YOU DIDN'T DESCRIBE THIS TO ME, I'LL LET MY MIND DO THAT."He closes his eyes, thinking strongly about Pokemon. When he reopens his eyes, he sees the monster as Groudon chasing him on all fours. He runs faster, breaking into the sprint.
