Big Pharma is a business and logistics sim which teaches you that the important thing about the pharmaceuticals industry is that it isn't about pharmaceuticals.

It plays fast and loose with actual medicine, but that's OK, because what it's really about is the logistics of the factory floor, balancing the spending on research with your income, and deciding when you can afford to make powerful, side-effect-free cures, and when you can get away with selling blood thinner that also causes nightmares, anxiety, and skin rashes.

If you're looking for a good free-form puzzler/logistics/business game, this is your best option. If you'd like a complimentary game for your 18-year-old Theme Hospital save, you can't do much better. If you're looking for a detailed simulation of the actual operations of a pharmaceutical company... this is not exactly what you want. Nonetheless I think there is a lot of overlap between the fortress-building DF player and the production-line-tweaking Big Pharma CEO. Check it out!

There's already a thread for this, actually.  Still a good game.  Spacechem for the brutality of the pharmaceutical market!  No like for real, you're encouraged to not cure people, just to treat them, and to sell combination drugs at a high price, which have cures that people don't need, but pay full price for.  That bottom line tho.

So there is.

Should have done a proper search instead of just looking over the first pages.
