Yes, you would and John can have a weapon too if he wants, nothing too fancy right now though, all weapons can have a non-lethal option if you choose.

Quickly find some cover away from prying eyes and attempt to hit the snipers head with my rifle.

Initiative: 1->3+1=4(This determines who goes first and the order actions happen, roll+dex modifier)

2 - You hide behind an innocent bystander and try to shoot the Sniper with your rifle, 6+1=7, you hit but the person you are using as a brace screams and sends the crowd into a panic. (Everyone gets -1 to everything when in the crowd)


"Grr...looks like we have a pest.  I'll take care of him."

Dash toward the sniper.  While running, remove the glove on my right hand, grab a medium sized rock with my right hand, and after giving the rock a few seconds to heat up, throw the rock at the sniper.  Whether I am able to throw a hot rock or not, attempt to get close enough to the sniper to grab his neck with my right hand.



(Magma Man is more of a "darker and edgier" 90s superhero, so don't expect him to be merciful)

Initiative: 5+2=7

2+2=4 - You dash at the sniper but the fact that you were hit by a bullet seemed to slow you down a bit, you are able to, take off your right hand glove, pick up a rock and throw it but, 6+2=8 you throw it a wee bit to far as the hot rock lands behind the sniper, luckily the building was made up of stone and not wood.

(Assuming that the sniper is smart and is on a ledge)

Initiative: 1+1=2

Irrelevant As you are knocked out you dose off peacefully


"Lots of people around. If he misses someone could die. Damn it, I can't get a shot off anyway with everyone running at him."

Cancel previous action. Take cover.

Initiative: 3

5+1-1=5 - You are able to take cover and completely hide yourself among the panicking crowd, however you are still hit and probably need to take care of that.


"I really should have brought a weapon!"

Dash into cover. Look around if I don't see any guns for the taking

Initiative: 4+1=5

3 - It's weird when you try to hide yourself among the crowd someone moves so the cover isn't perfect, no security guards or guns in sight though

1-1=0 - You try to shoot the sniper but with the panicking crowd you miss, and hit Rer Zeu who, 1+1 promptly gets knocked out and falls to the ground.

Enemy Action

Initiative: 5

6 - The sniper levels his rifle at Jack, takes aim and fires, it's a hit but he forgot to brace for the recoil so he goes flying back and hits his head, 1 getting knocked out in the process.  The hit on Jack 4 hit him in the arm and Jack, 4+2 was able to shrug off the pain but won't be doing anything with that arm for a little bit.

Go into a nearby building that's close to the building where the sniper is.  Get up to the roof, and run and jump between roof tops toward the sniper.  When I reach him, regardless of whether he's conscious or not, place my right hand directly onto his face and hold it there.

Cancel this action only if ordered to stop by Lt. Reika.

5+1-1=5 You are able to regain conscious, and with Anima's help move right under the balcony where the sniper is.

Find some better, more inanimate cover.
Initiative: 1+1=2

2-1=1 Well you look around but you can't seem to find any inanimate cover, and the crowd keeps moving so you are only half covered if anyone was to shoot you.

Where ever you put your right hand is a bit burned but no fire's start.  When you get there you put your right hand on his face and start burning him, he screams out in pain, but no permanent effects, for now.

Call an ambulance, then call the cops. Find a solid piece of non-living cover to hide behind.
Initiative: 4

4+1-1 You realize that calling an ambulance would be a bad thing since it would put you out of action for a while and The Gun Juggler could just have someone kill you while you are at the hospital, you do happen to find some first aid supplies and you are able to stop the bleeding and remove the bullet.

5+1-1 Rer seems to have woken up but is still a bit groggy, you are able help him move to right under the balcony where the sniper since that is the safest place, the sniper is in agony from the burns Magma Man is inflicting on his face.

Villain's Action

Initiative: 4

2 He is not able to pull Magma Man's hand away from his face and so he screams in pain more.

The crowd starts to filter out, and the sniper seems to be taken care of, the security people stay back as you guys are registered heroes, but you still have no clues as to where the mysterious Gun Juggler is.

(I'm going to require a bit of roleplay to interrogate this guy, if Magma Man stops melting hi face that is.)

(Magma man is more of a "kill first, ask questions later" kind of guy, though he has a begrudging respect for authority.)
