Well i'm still a pyromancer so i guessed i'd just light the forest up
Well, all you posted was "assist with magic", and there was some confusion about who the pyromancer was when you posted, so I didn't do anything—I didn't want to risk misinterpreting the action, especially since somebody else was reacting to your action. If you want to try something that wouldn't have triggered the other person's reaction, I'll edit it into Turn 3.

didn't he roll a 2 and lost track of pyromancers? I guess i'd just throw flame balls at someone
He probably mistook the Red Mage for a pyromancer or something.

Unfortunately, that would definitely affect someone else.

Also, this goes for everyone: please don't target "someone" with hostile actions. Try to name names; otherwise, they can't react, which is pretty unfair. This doesn't go for NPCs, obviously, since nobody cares if something unfair happens to them.

I probably won't update again until Saturday, but here's a work-in-progress map:


It still needs player markers, as well as a way to represent the fact that the edges of the map are unexplored, and not just light-blue void. The meadow-forest transition is pretty harsh; also, the forest tile is kind of ugly, tiles poorly, and doesn't represent what the forest actually looks like, at all.

Anyway, if you want, you may submit a custom player marker for yourself! Know this, though:

1) Because of how I make these*, if you go bigger than 16*16, you will run into problems if I decide to change the scale. If you want something more detailed than 16*16, you should wait. The cap is 32*32. The only acceptable size is 16*16. It doesn't need to fill up every single pixel, but it should be submitted as a 16*16 image.
2)If you don't submit a custom marker, your marker will be left up to GM whim. It might be a square with letters on it! It might be pixel art of your class! It might be pixel art of a hamburger! It might be a poorly-rescaled hamburger!

(It'll probably be a square with letters on it, though, since the other options would involve work.)

Eh eh it looks ok and even tho you got the number wrong we still know who it is So that should work for people who don't make icons. I'll make an icon for you tho.

The tiles are nice, but I think 16*16 markers on 32*32 tiles looks best. Also, 16*16 allows up to four markers on one tile before the GIF needs to be longer, which is nice.

Yeah, I'm going with 16*16 for now. Editing the previous post.

And done. Its got transparency in it so you'll have to right click and save it as the gif them open it in you image editing software to get the transparency.

It isn't 28*28 16*16 (it is 28*28), so you'll need to rescale it. If it looks really horrible rescaled, I'm not using it.

And done. Its got transparency in it so you'll have to right click and save it as the gif them open it in you image editing software to get the transparency.
Looks good!
