People are unhappy with how the map choices work and with the fact that the islanders jumped right to a fight without even trying to talk/work out an alternative to surrender, disarm, submit to judgement. This is not the first time this argument has been brought up. FOE got sick of it.

Edit:

BMM42   Only thing I would contest is that its not so much that the islanders jumped right to the fight without trying diplomacy so much as it is that they actively resisted all attempts at diplomacy that didn't involve us surrendering, disarming, and submitting to possibly lethal (last part is the sticking point) judgement.

Seeing what has happened, I believe its how people mentioned things that caused this rather than what people actually believe. Sometimes, people have very rough and blunt ways of communicating, and that affects what message their words carry, especially their wording of such.

I hope you're ok F.O.E., but I would also like you to be not see what people said to you in a very stressful way (because it'll just bring you down .-.). Knowing the FEF community, they're all cool dudes--just with a very dynamic way of speaking.

Understanding the islanders--their reasoning makes sense (it's a long story here, but studies in behavior and stuff make me conclude = Yeah, islanders reaction = Totally reasonable). I've had an IC tip there when comparing the soldier and the nobility--it's how you say things that matter too, no matter whether WHAT you say is right or correct, because that covers how you interact (and this is where I believe the problem originated, a problem of communication [but realistically, nobody can hear us IC since we're on the beach and they're...over there. Like a whole forest away )

So what FOE did is perfectly reasonable ^ ^ I doubt this game is dead though, there's just deep tension in the air, and whoever parties are included in causing the breakdown, please resolve this together. I don't want people growing apart because of that.
