"My gun is combat tested and deemed effective. It's upgraded AI form is not tested however, but this should provide good opportunity."

If doors are opened:
Move my weapon platform in right front of it and order it to move a bit forward after doors open.
Order the golem to smash heads of every clone outside of bridge.

Otherwise ask good captain if he wants to come with us if we decide to use escape pods.

Since there doesn't seem to be a general concensus on whether or not you all should open the door yet, we'll assume that you are not opening it this turn. Why don't you guys do a vote upon it or something, lets hope there is not a tie, since Jon Goldbloom can't really vote.
______________________________________________________________________________________________

((I like that we're getting somewhere. That's a rare trait in an RTD.))

"Oh! Here's an idea!"

Using the security camera to coordinate, lift a loaded-looking gauss rifle on the other side and shoot some of the scattered people with it.

[1+1]

Your attempts to control the rifle are unsucessful, it's a bit more difficult than you thought it would be and you miss all of the shots, nearly hitting the security camera once.

((I like it well enough. I feel that the initial selection of skills [not the magic, but the other three] might have been a little open ended, but that's fine. It leaves us without everything we need to survive alone in the universe, which forces us to think and act creatively, I think.))

(Harry, you should lift a weapon from one o the clones instead of the box. the box ones might not be loaded)

"Think I'm getting the hang of this. Professor, you think that's a good idea? Fridge, if we open the door, I'll want to concentrate on using a weapon instead of my skills. that last effort tired me pretty good. I can go again, but I'd like a little time to recharge."

If we open the door, take cover first to the side, near the hallway to the escape pods and ready a weapon. Fire on targets o opportunity or anything that gets past the bot and golem.

If we don't open the door, check on the professor's leg. Use antiseptics, anything in the medkit that draws stuff out o wounds, and a knife and/or syringe to get as much of the black crud out as I can, clean the wound with a clean clothe, and rewrap it with fresh bandages.

[3]

You disinfect the wound and try to remove as much of the black gunk as you can to the Professor's distress, it must be painful. You manage to clean the gunk up that had seeped out of the wound, but there is still a good amount of it in the veins around the wound, which are difficult to reach by conventional means. It has spread about a quarter of an inch further in every direction, and the skin has also turned black right around the wound. You put a fresh bandage on the wound.

"I'd gladly go with you all if it means I can get out of this shitshow. Though I may go my separate way once we land, if possible. Any way you guys could untie me?"

Newton cleans up your wound, it hurts as he scrapes some of the blank gunk away. The wound looks in worse condition than it had in the medbay.

Newton looks soberly at the professor.
"I've done all I can. It's still getting worse though. You need real medical attention, and soon."
He then looks at the Captain.
"As for you. You attacked some of us when things went sour with the shuttles. We'll consider unleashing you if you prove cooperative. Right now, we need information. Can we land without being captured or killed immediately? In other words, how tight a grip does the group running this business have on this planet? Also, if possible, give us a location for the containment facility for others like us. finally, you might be flying this thing down. Ugh ... I'd rather stay here and try and get the damned engines in than bring it down into known hostile territory, but a week is a long time ..."

I'm good with opening the doors if the clones outside are no more than about twelve, and if thy have no heavy weapons like rocket launchers. Otherwise, Imma have to gravity smash them all first.

(Sorry, I've been busy lately and haven't had a chance to post from my computer yet.  Here's a quick action for now.)

Check console for information about what type of ship this is.  Check if any other ships of the same type exist on the planet or in its orbit.  If the console provides no information, ask the captain instead.

Let's open the door and shoot everyone if there's not a squad of well-armed clones awaiting us on the other side.

(Eh, maybe we should all don a spacesuit and just disabled life support.  Then we just wait for 5 minutes for the clones to suffocate and restore life support afterward)

Voting to keep doors closed for now.

Looks to be 3 to 1, with opening the doors being the winning vote. I'll update this later tonight hopefully.

Check console for information about what type of ship this is.  Check if any other ships of the same type exist on the planet or in its orbit.  If the console provides no information, ask the captain instead.

It's an old high speed freighter/passenger transport. It's smaller than a normal freighter, so it can carry sensitive cargo at much higher speeds. You can't see any in orbit, or find a manifest. But, its safe to assume that there are others. These things are fairly common due to their effectiveness and age. The planet below is large enough to receive sizable trade, and possibly have some of these visiting.

"Well, that depends where you land. If you land in some of the sparsely populated desert areas, there is a good chance that you won't be noticed, as they are desolate and dangerous. If you land in a more populated area you will be swarmed immediately. That said, why not just take an escape pod down, rather than the whole ship? You can always fly back up to this thing later. Not to mention that landing this ship, in this condition, might break some things."

There are 14 left, so we'll have you weaken them first.

[3+1]

You pick up 4 of the clones and slam them into the ground with a chorus of snaps as bones break, and blood spraying everywhere. The 4 that you attacked all have stopped moving. There are now 10 clones remaining.

You collapse behind a thick metal table, breathing heavily.

Voting for opening doors.
If doors are opened:
Move my weapon platform in right front of it and order it to move a bit forward after doors open.
Order the golem to smash heads of every clone outside of bridge.

Let's open the door and shoot everyone if there's not a squad of well-armed clones awaiting us on the other side.

The doors open and the clones quickly move into firing positions, the uninjured successfully recovering from Newton's attack.

The results of the firefight:

Newton manages not to be injured as he has fallen behind the table.

PFC Fridge is hit by a Gauss pistol round in the right arm, leaving a marble sized hole. It is gushing blood, and hurts badly.

We'll assume the Professor has a pistol for this. You fire off several rounds rapidly. Several of them hit their marks. One in particular hits a clone in his arm, he jerks back and fires off his rifle a few times, accidentally shooting his allies.

The Flesh Golem charges into the room, swinging wildly at the clones, it maims two of them before being pumped full of bullets and falling to the ground. It's breathing raggedly and bleeding heavily, but is not dead.

The weapons platform rapidly targets it's enemies, and dispenses high-speed metal justice like it's nobodies business, killing several clones.

Jon Goldbloom is hit in the stomach by a gauss rifle round, flying into a wall with a dull thud. He is quietly begging for help from you all.

Phil manages to kill some clones without taking a scratch.

3 badly injured clones are all that remain. One is trying to crawl towards the elevator.

(Hm, this ship isn't all that special.  We should probably just abandon it and escape via the escape pods.  We might able to find another freight ship or come back to this one later.)

"Jon!  Hold on, buddy!"

Rush over to Jon, reduce his sense of touch to 10% in order to reduce the pain, and attempt to give medical aid.

"Anyone here good with first aid?  Jon could use some help over here!"

"Field test completed and it is glorious! Mhahahahaa!" Professor laughs before moving to finish remaining clones. After that's done he takes a victory pose before helping wounded allies. I'm sure I still have gauzes, tourniquets and other assorted medical crap with me.

"Cover! That's what I forgot!" PFC Fridge notes. "That was silly of me, really."

Apply some medical treatment to hole in arm. See if I can use my hoodoo to help somehow.

Newton assists Phil in doing what he can for Jon, and he assists PC Fridge in patching his arm.
He then sighs.
"You make a good point, captain. Of course, now we have injured who need medical attention as well. Guys, I suggest we take the Captain's advice, and take a pod down. I'll see if I can find a location that is sufficiently distant from urban centers, yet is relatively close to reliable medical care. Captain ... The location of the holding facility for our kind, if you please."
Newton does his navigation thing and narrows our landing options to places relatively distant from urban centers, yet relatively close to a hospital that has a good chance of aiding our wounded. Additional factor: outside of likely patrol range of holding acility, but near enough for travel not to be an onerous burden.

((What do you mean by your Hoodoo harry? Your telekinesis?))

This is getting odd, you guys rolled two sixes in a row. We'll assume that both Harry and Jon are fixed up, and disinfected. But, they could get infections later on. One important thing to note is that the Professors condition is due to his powers backfiring, not just a plain old infection.

I decided I would try to use my world generator and give you all a map. The image host compressed the images so they do not look as well as I hoped, but they should give you some perspective. Here is the first map, the cities are red, and the yellow is the ground transport routes between them. Later on, you may happen upon maps for the air and sea routes also.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Here is the second map, it shows rough spheres in which each city patrols:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Also, the most populated and advanced cities are closer to the center north. The one with the largest sphere being the capital.
