I thought the sectoids only failed on Body.
The Ethdudes also said they were cowardly / cruel or something like that. Don't really remember.

So they failed on Heart.

Yeah, DirectX is a proprietary Windows thing. Also, caps-lock during loading screens?
it apparently super-speeds loading somehow.

I have no idea why it works, but it definitely works.

Keep in mind, people have reported having textures fail to load and stuff when using that.

Lots of plot going on. Too busy staring at Shen's ass.

Anyway:
Their human psi captives had abilities beyond even the Volunteer, by the way.
Calling bullshit on this.
I mean, by psi captives you mean like that Durant chick or whatever her name was and the two others right?
Now the way the game explains it they act as psionic amplifiers or something like that, which is impressive sure.

But the Volunteer exploded a ship the size of Texas by thinking at it really hard.

Pff, part of the reason I like her is that she *doesn't* contort her ass towards the camera.
Though she's a bit young and naive sounding sometimes.  But hey, prodigies often are.

Now you're talking.

He's forty and dead. Pretty sure necrophilia is only slightly tolerated.

He's not dead in Enemy Unknown!
Sure he has a little grey hair, but he doesn't act elderly.  He moves naturally and is literally a genius.  So yeah, 40's probably...  I'm 29, it's barely even weird.

Shen is 50 at least, I can tell from the pixels and his hatred for video games.
