The ending sets up the game for "terror from the deep" I find that quite dissapointing. It would be much cooler if the third game was us going to the aliens planet and taking it over.

Does the modding tool allow for more soldier language sound bytes? I'm hoping for some russian and mandarin to be added by modders at some point. Some english with heavy accent would be great too. Oh, and that heavy texan drawl too, that would be great.
Literally the thing I am working on. And in fact, they give you an example voicepack mod to work with. And in fact, that example voicepack is for russian.

The ending CENSORED I find that quite dissapointing. It would be much cooler if the third game was CENSORED

Spoiler alert

I'll put you on the front line of my SSFaFP. Right in front. I'll also make you wear a shirt that says

"I can't tell the difference between French and Spanish and I dared to challenge the Commandant's superior command of all human languages"

When we fight the Sectopods, I'll make you charge at them solo with a broken toothpick.

Edit: Also now because of you all my Google ads are MSF asking for my donations. AND I WILL DONATE TO THEM. Because of you.

In fact, probably the best one.

personally I can't wait for the inevitable mod that replaces the imaginary assault rifles with AK-47s to really get into that guerilla spirit.

So how about the cutscenes this time around?

The pre-rendered cutscenes actually looked really great, but the rest are all nice too. Much better compared to XCom:EU's few cutscenes.
I like how they handled the story. It felt more like an actual story and not a couple pieces of dialogue telling you that you need to do X. Also not too intrusive on the gameplay.

Terror From The Deep. The sequel to UFO Defense taking place underwater and claimed by some to just be a reskin of UFO Defense.

You should really look to the wilderness for your stealth ideas, it has been doing it much longer than you have after all. Take squids for example, that ink trick works pretty well, and in water too! So you just sneak into the dam upsteam, dump several megatons of distressed squid into it, then break the dam. Boom, you suddenly have enough water-proof stealth for a whole city!

UFO Defense made balls-hard because of the original's bugged difficulty.
