How much memory does steam ask for when you preload?  My laptop doesn't have that much available currently.

You misspelled seance.  Are possessing Draignean?  Are you actually a ghost in the shell? You have to tell us if you are, that's the rule

The System Requirements section on the store page says that the storage space required is 45gb.

You should really look to the wilderness for your stealth ideas, it has been doing it much longer than you have after all. Take squids for example, that ink trick works pretty well, and in water too! So you just sneak into the dam upsteam, dump several megatons of distressed squid into it, then break the dam. Boom, you suddenly have enough water-proof stealth for a whole city!

Sat here at work, downloading at a grand 400kb's a second and trying to fathom whether its the steam servers or my clients ISP.
Meanwhile, I started unpacking the files an hour ago. I did not finish unpacking the files at the time of writing this.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Great, it won't start (after the launcher), and it says that minimum directx 10.1 is required. Directx 11 is installed, dammit.

Did you try installing directx and/or drivers yet again? (Alternately, what graphics card are you using and does it actually support DX10/11 to begin with?)

Steam has just reinstalled dx, as it always does when installing a new game. And the graphics card is a GeForce 8800 GTX, so it should be dx10 compatible.

There was a couple of WW2 air warfare games like that, where you led a squadron of RAF or Luftwaffe during the Battle of Britain. The battles would play in the way you guys described, I think it worked pretty well. Of course in a modern fight the distances would be very long and not sensible for dogfights.

That's the kind of thing they should overlook in favour of action though. Dogfights are much more fun than farfights.

I'd be excited, if I had preordered and/or planned on buying it on release day. I'll be late to the party on this one but there's no way in hell I'm not picking this up real soon.

Huh. Just me, or is the size of the preload changing? I'm up to 25GB now.

I'm gonna wait for a sale solely for money reasons, but damn I want it to be good.  :P

The sale was when GMG was selling preorders for like 20-30% off. You're not going to see discounts like that until next Christmas probably.  :P

That happened to me hours ago. It went up roughly .3gb, so maybe its the patch?
