When I saw the OOC thread reemerge, for a moment I thought I might have missed a day by accident. Glad that's not the case!

What is the ethos of the Cult of the Black Sun, if I may ask? I assume it's something that all of the politically savvy Towers would be familiar with, right? Or is it a mystery religion of some kind, with only club members privy to their actual beliefs?

It's traditional (shamanistic, even) Polytheism vs philosophical Monotheism thing. Also that Old Gods is part of the culture, and the Cult forms the centre of a theocratic union.

Do you want to be replaced by a bunch of clergy, is the main question for Towers :v Clap if you believe so

So the Black Sun is basically modern-style religion, as opposed to the city's traditional pantheon-style religion?

They believe in a single god, then? What kind of god is it, as far as we can tell? Unknowable, kind, unforgiving, impulsive, non-interventionist?

He wants burnt sacrifices of food and animals on regular basis plus everything not Him (or rather, It, considering It is personified as the Sun during Eclipse) is bad and should be opposed v:

Old Gods on other hand are conglomeration of all kinds of deities and idols that have accumulated over centuries during Ragona's rise into city-state.

Historically, is there any precedent to denying a religion the right to build temples? Any well known precedent, that a Tower not haunting the archives in her spare time would know of? Despite the player's mindset of "modern-style religion", I expect the actual Rogonans would be surprised by our united opposition. Or am I misreading the situation?

So far no religion have asked to built inside the city walls. Outside, there are numerous tiny shrines and houses of worships. But no actual temples v:

So this is the first ever temple in the city? Or do you mean "besides these old religions we've been worshiping for ages, but they don't count"?

Yes, exactly that. No one 'from outside' ever before dared to ask to build their own temple beside the temples of Ragona's polytheistic temples :v

Also 3man75 I think you screwed copypasting a bit v:

Out of curiosity, do the people with family affinity have any specific objectives, or do they just vote however they feel like all the time? (not that I have any ulterior motives, of course. I only seek to serve the city of Ragona.)
