Well, wouldn't a shuck then more accurately fall under the scope of being an outsider than a spirit?"

"Outsider is a matter of origin, not class. Simply having traveled from an external reality doesn't change your nature. In any case, I've always found the definition of a spirit as 'a being whose existence is defined by a particular energy or concept, but does not embody that concept itself'. For example, Ghosts  are defined by memory, Psychopomps by death, and Shucks by Dimensional Disruption. Of course, this is by necessity vague, as any such taxonomy would have to be."
