First of all, Teresha looks like this:

Teresha is originally from New Orleans, and originally from a Haitian-American family. Her family practices Creole Catholicism, which is basically Roman Catholicism, with Voodoo. Teresha mainly tries to make love charms and spells, emphasis on tries, and likes to try to matchmake people in her spare time. While her personality is somewhat off-putting, Teresha tends to generally mean well, but her lack of capacity for lying, and her generally over-it, and somewhat apathetic attitude, tends to hide that.
