Anita walks over, and presumably takes the paper. "It's gibberish to me, but I think this might be in an old language called latin. One of the scientists might be able to read it."

"Same language on their tattoos, as well." Maria grabs the leader's arm and pulls it so that Anita can see the marking.

Eric drops down from the rafters, landing carefully with everyone else.

"They coordinated their attack with Titans. One of them was probably a shifter, but how did they control the others?"

Eric talks to nobody in particular, fixing his glasses.

"A technique like this could eliminate the Titans entirely, or at the very least remove whenever humans appear. It would be invaluable to find out."

"It didn't look like control, more masking themselves from the Titan's senses or something like that. I'd like to know how they made Titans appear out of thin air though..."

If looks could kill, Anita would have just blown Eric to bits. "Yes, we'll need more information. If possible, a way to counter it.

Tobias stares right into Eric's eyes.
"The more you speak of him as an "it" and the more you turn your back on someone who shared the same efforts as you for 5 years of training, the less inclined we are to help you if you're ever in trouble. And I'm starting to get to that point."

Nikita rejoins the group. He gives Eric a cold glare.
"If he were just like that thing as you called it, you wouldn't be standing here."

"As we have ALL established except for you, Alexander is not an "it" but a he."
Tobias stares right into Eric's eyes.
"The more you speak of him as an "it" and the more you turn your back on someone who shared the same efforts as you for 5 years of training, the less inclined we are to help you if you're ever in trouble. And I'm starting to get to that point."

Eric's eyes are still covered by the super shiney glasses, which he continues to fix.

"The way I see it, it has three fates. The best is we use it as an experiment, gaining knowlage from its existence. If the higher ups see fit, it will instead become a weapon to fight the Titans with. If it does neither, we will have to kill it. In any case, it is not a "he". Don't get attached to it. An experiment, a weapon, or a corpse. That is all it is."

Nikita rejoins the group. He gives Eric a cold glare.
"If he were just like that thing as you called it, you wouldn't be standing here."

"Why not? If I am correct, I took down a shifter before. It is just another Titan, with all that entails."

"You seem sure of yourself."
If Nikita is even more displeased by Eric's words, his cold expression doesn't seem to show any emotion at all.

His equally shiny glasses also betray no emotion from his eyes.

"And with all you are saying, you're becoming a liability. Alienating yourself from your teammates is hardly good for the Corps."

Alix is becoming more and more pissed at Eric, but they control themselves. For now.

"In that case, you are now an it. You are being used as titan fodder. The dullest blade in the armory. The most fragile. And if you aren't suitable as a weapon, you are simply killed. Either by committing treason for not going into combat, or by uselessly being eaten by the first Titan you see. Right now, you're playing the dangerous game of testing all of us for how much we respect you. If you keep referring to our teammate as an it, and dehumanizing him, then it is fit for none of us to trust you. We are comrades. Even Alexander. He has done more than you will ever do in helping us with the Titans."
