Dear god what am I getting myself into

Ok, I'm new to the forums, having only joined less than a month ago, but I've joined several games and RPs, and after reading a few more, an idea came to mind. An Attack on Titan, or Shingeki no Kyojin as it's known in Japan, RP with the players taking the roles of new soldiers, with a plot entirely separate from the plot of the original manga and anime.

The Walled City of Attack on Titan has absolutely no contact with the rest of the world. The names and official ethnicities of the characters suggest that it is in Europe somewhere. Therefore, there may be other Walled Cities, on other continents. In this case, North America, and more specifically, the USA. This one is going to be laid out exactly the same as the one from the source material for simplicity's sake. The largest wall is Wall Athena, then Wall Aphrodite, then Wall Demeter. Suggestions for the names of the towns on the outsides of the walls would be appreciated. Like the first wall of AoT, wall Athena was breached. The equivalent of the Survey Corps, the Recon Corps, is trying to take it back, and has supply camps set up along the main road to the breached part. The players are new soldiers, most likely members of this group. I'm not sure if I'll allow player-controlled Titan Shifters.

I haven't actually written up the plot yet, but I have ideas. We're using the Titan World system.

Class: Classes will be chosen at level 1.
Stat distribution: distribute modifiers (+2, +1, +1, +0, -1)
Agility: Agility is skill in moving quickly, evading Titans, and getting into advantageous positions. It is rolled to avoid harm or get into position to strike. Agility is the most important stat for The Natural.
Execution: Execution is both skill at dispatching enemies and the mental resolve to move in for the killing blow. It is rolled to deliver crippling or fatal attacks against Titans, or for fighting humans. Execution is the most important stat for The Warrior.
Awareness: Awareness is the ability to quickly understand the flow of a situation It is rolled to determine probable sources of serious threat and the best ways to deal with them, as well as anticipate unexpected attacks. Awareness is the most important stat for The Tactician
Discipline: Discipline is the ability to keep your head when things get seriously dire. It is rolled to avoid panicking in truly horrible situations, and to inspire the same level of stability in others. Discipline is the most important stat for The Leader.
Rage: Rage is sheer personal drive and hatred of the Titans that plague humanity. It is rolled to break free from hopeless situations where your life is on the line. Rage is the most important stat for The Shifter.
Description: What your character looks like. Duh.

I'll be taking 10 players, maybe more once I'm more comfortable with GMing.

I stealth-edited it in. It uses a system called "Titan World", and I don't quite remember how well it works.

I can't get the download to work, but I'll try to figure out a system.

Also, in regards to deaths, I think that I might also add a stat for getting out of impossible situations ((I.E. Spend a point of it to escape death)). Nobody likes dying on their first mission.

Maybe something like this: You've got 15 points to spend on the 4 stats at first level. Every 5 points is a +1 to rolls for that stat, but 3 or less is a -1. You get another point every level.

What is the difference between Luck and Intuition? They seem redundant. And how is movement going to be calculated? If Agility is one of the main stats, that effect speed, it would probably be difficult to do naritivly.

Hm... so for stats, I think I'm going with this:

Agility: Your agility on the ground and with maneuver gear. Used for escaping Titans and other feats that require speed.
Accuracy: How accurate you are with your blades. Used for attacking Titans in vital points, and other things that need good accuracy.
Will: Your will to survive. Gives you that little extra push to move away from a Titan's bite or cut your way out of their hands. ((Thought this was a better name. Still acts as HP.))
Intuition: Your instincts. Maybe they'll tell you when to put some more force behind your sword, or dodge out of the way. ((Basically, luck, for critical hits and such.))

Yeah, you're right. I think I'm going to go with movement being mostly narrative outside of combat, with agility in-combat mostly being about dodging or doing the more advanced things with the maneuver gear.

Alternatively, if someone could find those "Titan World" rules mentioned earlier and post them using dropbox or something, I'll look those over and see if they would work well enough.

The link in the other game still works for me. If not, there was a brief explanation of them there you could read over to see if it would work. First quote for the moves, first for the stats. I still have my copy if you still want one.

Reading it over, yeah, it's more thought out than mine. I think I'll use that one. It doesn't specify, so what kind of dice is used?

It seems to say it, just has it really really badly placed. To be exact, it is under "Terminology".

Anyway, it says most rolls are 2d6+stat. So simply d6s.
