Don't let the name fool you, I am also half Filipino and this excites me. Been waiting years for this bout. I'm, of course, rooting for Manny and according to my mom he used to be in elementary school with a uncle of mine (take this with a grain of salt, as I'm sure many Filipino mothers have similar stories.)

Tonight my friends and I are breaking out the beer, the food, and calling the guys together for this one! It'll turn out like an ork Waaaghhhhhh! but without the death and violence.

I don't have a horse in the ring, but I haven't seen a good boximg match in years, so it better be good. A buddy is trying to tell me Mayweather is gonna win, but I don't know.

I mostly just don't like Mayweather, because he talks a millions pounds of shit and never backs it up. Yeah, he's a real technician, and his reflexes are second to none, but he gets ahead on points and coasts. That's not how a warrior acts. I was always taught in every discipline I've studied that giving less than 100% to your opponent in a real bout was highly disrespectful, even if they were ranked well below you.

I enjoy watching boxing, but I rarely get to do so since I don't have cable.
From what I've seen of that Mayweather guy he does look pretty annoying. Hopefully he gets knocked the fuck out.

In which I'm watching at a friend's place while doing our research work. ...In which people bring out a Tv set, and invite all their neighbors. Or people on the road. Random people pop up, and we let them watch, generally depending on the place, but it generally goes off like a whole thing of camaraderie here (also free food But that's just one bit of it).
_{Though I like that society is focusing on this value into improving communal culture.}

Personally, I'm watching it mostly for support (for both/all fighters in the performance). It's less of 'SUPPORT THIS GUY' but more of enjoying the sport because of the delivery of skill and all.
That said, MZ carries my point very well.
