We all have different youtuber we all subscribed but arent quite the Angry Joe show or that cinical brit but still like and love. I tought about making a thread to share those i found good and deserve to be more known.

Lets discuss who you like and why!

Ok this guy is one of those who are quite known but still wanted to speak about him. His voice is a bit soothing and stays on topic most of the time and covers mostly strategy games related to Paradox but also does some factorio. Light humor once ina  while but mostly professional and to the point. Never saw him angry!

Another one quite known but is the whole opposite of Arumba, he simply NEVER stops talking dropping puns left and right, easter reference, when you watch him its more for his puns than the game itself. He must have been a humorist in another life or something. Some find him annoying because well he never stops talking some other like it just for his puns and stuff. Covers a wide variety of games too, most of them indie.

If you could give a line or 2 on their personality and what type of game coverage they do it would be nice. They can be specialised in one game like mighty jingles for worlds of tank or cover a wide brand it doesnt matter, as long they dont have massive view coverage, even those i listed are quite borderline!

Also if you have a crush for a specific youtuber not relate to game but you think should really deserve our attention, please share but limit yourself to your best one and can we avoid cat youtubers? I mean catsplosion isnt enough? I dont wanna be adopted...

On a few of solo artist i am subscribed it was hard to choose but lindsey stirling is my first pick, wonderfull violonist, dances makes cover and also original songs, really a must listen and watch in my book!

I mean, Pewdiepie when he actually plays games. Say what you will about his other stuff, but people forget he is both a vlogger and now a podcaster. I enjoy most of his videos either way. Especially when he gets off the indie game kick.

I mean, he's obviously wickedly popular, but he's got so many detractors now I thought i'd bring it up.

Of less popular youtubers, Cinnamontoastken with the same gripes as above. Cryaotic. Scott Manley. Last Stand Gamers.

One F Jef and Aavak should be well-known in this community already considering the games they play, but they still require mention here.

Jef has done both Dwarf Fortress and Liberal Crime Squad, not to mention many of the other sorts of games people here like.  He's consistently entertaining and funny, slightly juvenile (just the right amount of juvenile actually).  Probably my all-time favorite Youtuber/streamer.

I quite recommend Marshall Dyer, found him to be LPer (covers many genres) that best fits my preference so far.

He produces huge amount of content (two videos of 40~60 minutes daily) and I like his voice and commentary, which can be thoughtful depending on what kind of game he is playing. He already has huge reportoire of games on playlist so there's plenty for anyone interested to check. As for the weakness, he can become opinionated at times, and sometimes have tendency to draw conclusions that significantly miss the mark.


Another LPer of note is Kahai, LPer who mostly specializes in 2D platformers. He is mostly inactive at the moment, unfortunately.

His commentary is decent though some might find it differently than I do, and he is one of the LPer who actively avoid use of profanity by using replacement words (although rarely it fails). I have to warn that there's one recent experimental video ("Team Dysfunctional vs Payday 2") which is severely different from his LP style and should be avoided, and that his playlist do not show several other games he played and finished.

Sleepcycles. Pretty much to Nuclear Throne what a million other youtubers are to the Binding of Isaac. Awesome accent too. A bit of low-key swearing, but you can get away with anything with that accent. A few other first looks and LPs as well.

Meghan Downie. Unboxxing vids for DOTA2 mostly. Does a tiny bit of gameplay. Kind of wish she'd do more. Shows that the community in DOTA aren't all horrible people.

It's pretty rare I bother with YouTubers without a good attitude. She's one of totalBiscuit's mob, but kind of the drawcard of the entire network.

While not exactly the smallest network, while we're on DOTA thingies, Tobiwan and the joinDOTA network. Top casting by most commentators, huge network, but Aussie! Aussie! Aussie!, Oi Oi Oi!
Plus a bit of HuYa American things, and a bit of Euro stuff. Something for everyone, mostly. With pretty good coverage of Asian leagues too.

Seems like a cool guy as well, active and friendly in the comments section. Very high quality as well, so it's crazy how under-noticed he is.
