It is terrific. this entire thread has been so funny

No seriously that must have been hilarious the sheer amount of corpses and crippled things.
At Bastiongate I have 20 dwarves designated as Hell Workers. They are the only dwarves in the fort with the construction and deconstruction labors active, since I don't want the rest of my dwarves making the trek down to hell, building a wall, then going back up.

They are all fairly stupid. They fall off the scaffolding onto the hard slade ground on a regular basis. Until I started taking down the Hell Bastion's scaffolding, I thought 10 beds, 3 tables, and 3 traction benches would be enough. I thought 10, 20, 30, then finally 40 splints would be enough. They weren't. Each of these dwarves has avoided death many times. Each one has broken every limb in their bodies many times. Each one has at least 6-7 pages of medical history.

Right now three of them cannot work because they broke both arms. Two more work anyway despite two broken legs and a broken arm. Two have two broken legs. Three have permanent lung injuries. More have lesser wounds. One is in traction right now. Half of them are legendary crutch walkers. They are the reason I have two legendary doctors.

How's that for crippled things.

Armok finds their suffering to amusing to allow them an early death.

Did any die to a cracked-open head?  Or to demons?

Savescums. I'm a dirty cheater who loves his dwarves. The hell workers are all fort-born dwarves with lovers and parents.

One died to falling off scaffolding into a pit before I put in the safety net. Two died cracking their heads and then I missed their deaths and saved.

Cheaters Unite! I cheat like a bastard in adventure mode. Partially justified though. The current version crashes a lot and I get bugs a lot. Backs ups and save scumming saved me more than once. I learned after I killed a hydra and the game crashed when I tried to travel away...
