Seeking shitty fonts.

I am in desperate need of some non-standard fonts, which need to be terrible. Not necessarily illegible, but I'll take those as well.

Papyrus is OK in moderation.

It crossed the line when James Cameron used it for Avatar promotional materials.

Just look for any sizeable "Free fronts" pack. You will find plenty of horribly kerned, Horribly hinted, visually horrible fonts within, I guarantee it.

I mean, just look at some of these offerings.

If you can't find a suitably horrible font in a collection like that, you just aren't looking hard enough.

What's wrong with Papyrus? Technologically speaking, it is a well made, well kerned, well hinted TTF font of professional quality!

I mean, next you will start bashing on Comic-Sans!


The font you should really be bashing is Helvetica
And its abysmal clones, like Arial --Simply because they are SO GODDAMNED OVERUSED.

Look up the D&D sourcebook "Immortal's Handbook." Use the font they use for the headers in that. It's the worst font I've ever seen.

Dafont is my go to font site. You want unreadable kitschy font? It's got you covered.
