"I... don't... he seems to be a street pickpocket that ran afoul of the Noble." she bends down to the boy's level. "Hi there. What's your name?"

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

"A street thief? Heh... Now given a better look, you're armed lighter then a ranger. Perhaps he can learn a couple things from you. What did Aurel say about young Steel here?"

"Sounds... Cruel... Sadly, I don't think the boy has magical prowess, but I think I could teach him a thing or two. I must admit though, that Aurel fellow always did strike me as... Off... It might just have been me.

Well, Steel, where is your father if you don't have a mother?"

"I lost my parents at about the same age as you, Steel. If its any sort of consolation, I understand.

Did you even have a place to stay before? I assume it must've been hard being on your own."

"I think stealing from a nobleman who probably hired some of the guards, was probably one mistake. They'd probably turn a blind eye from something like that.

Since you're probably going to be stuck with us, perhaps its best that we visit your place and get anything you need. We're expecting to be gone for a few days. If you'd join me, Lady Kane, and you, Sir Monk, we could pitch in and get anything else Young Steel here needs. We should hurry though, we still need time to arrive at the gates, though I don't think they'll leave without Sir Monk, as I suspect Foresonna the Witch will be leading us?"
