I FEEL WE SHOULD HAVE MULTIPLE COUNTRIES, AS JUST ONE NATION IN MESO-AMERICA ISN'T ENOUGH FOR MORE THINGS TO DO THAN THE LAST MAP. AND ALSO TO REPRESENT THE TRIBES AND CULTURES OF THE LAND ACCURATELY.

Make a capital city for a country around the pyramid/temple thing.

  Am doing so, there is a city in the works which makes a ring around the Creation Temple, with Forest in between the two. The city needs a name... and perhaps a backstory to give it some history?

Alright, how long should I give for people to put forth their suggestions?

Hmm... depends how long it takes to draw stuff. If updates are on weekends, you could take suggestions the first say, half week, and then draw for the remaining time. Or, you could draw whenever it happens and only do whatever suggestions happen to be there when you're feeling like drawing (short version: basically whenever you want).

Also, your art = awesome.

We should call it... *thinks real hard* ...Tanoa.

  Noted, 'Tanoa' and 'Rorrim' will be seperate countries (where do you want them on the map, and give them a history!) and 'Sohtym' the Planet, although I like the idea of regions-anyone have a name for the region we're in?

  I WILL put 'Kanto' as the Region if you folks don't come up with something.

  Map is inaccurate, a better term would be 'Atlas'. Otherwise people will think you're contradicting yourself or attempting a Paradox, since the current map is just that one page...

It is said the gods set small groups of humans around the temple, to build villages, as they built the villages  grew into each other, and formed the holy city.

You look at the city around the temple through the window of your room, a city which has proven itself to be quite contrary to the way you view cities to be- where is the planning, the forethought, in this labyrinthine maze of streets, buildings and temples? You find that this is a result of many villages merging into a single whole, surrounding the Creation Temple.

in the center of the land is a large pyramid. made or rectangle blocks. on them is inscribed odd runes of an unknown language
it is said to have been placed by the gods to mark the beginning of the creation

To the west of the temple, across a canal, is a large arena dug into the earth. It is used to play the ball game

In the far west is a nest of amphitheres, worshipped as messengers of the gods by the people, often given sacrifices in the forms of animals and precious metals and stones.

the amphrites are quite beign. And will allow the people to approach. They have been known to protect and shelter lost, or orphaned children, and travelers.
