soooo....seeing as how we decided on atlas style (so we could have a big world but still handle small towns and such)) are you going to copy that page then start drawing? or are you using a different design for each page?

  There is this amazing device called a 'light table' which allows one to easily trace previous drawings while making any changes as they wish. When that isn't available, using a window on a sunny day works just as effectively.

  I did think ahead, that's why I decided on having most updates on weekends. Gives me time to draw in the interim.

 Since I'm on, any advice, suggestions or ideas?

Maybe add some Quetzalcoatl-looking things? Have them be out equivalent of dragons or something. I still have my 'Dragonology' book, so I'd be able to provide details.

You start your masterpiece of cartography at the fabled place of beginning, The Creation Temple itself. It lies in the Center of... hmm. What do they call this place again?

((...yep, we are so lost we don't even know what planet we're at, let alone what country. We might want a name for both.))

in the center of the land is a large pyramid. made or rectangle blocks. on them is inscribed odd runes of an unknown language
it is said to have been placed by the gods to mark the beginning of the creation

To the west of the temple, across a canal, is a large arena dug into the earth. It is used to play the ball game

  The entire border of the map is 2 Quetzalcoatl-esque beasts, also each of the 4 cornerstones are going to be references to Animé (although one is arguably a cartoon). As to how they appear (or don't) on the map, well I'm just drawing what you people come up with!

Hmm... depends how long it takes to draw stuff. If updates are on weekends, you could take suggestions the first say, half week, and then draw for the remaining time. Or, you could draw whenever it happens and only do whatever suggestions happen to be there when you're feeling like drawing (short version: basically whenever you want).

Also, your art = awesome.

We should call it... *thinks real hard* ...Tanoa.
