So I've been toying with an idea.  The first part is to do video tutorials on intermediate-advanced subjects, for people who definitely know how to farm and fight, but might want some help getting a hold of advanced military setup, pump stack options, waterfalls without drowning, waterfalls WITH drowning, magma-based defense, and drive-by shootings.

The second part was to do a considerable amount of editing, and compress a fortress lifespan into a 10 minute video.

So consider this an interest check, and to ask for things people don't understand, or things that people had trouble with when they were learning it the first time.

I would definitely be interested in drive-by shootings (marksdwarfs in minecarts I assume?). Figuring out haw patrols work would be nice too.

I could use videos on water computation and/or mechanical computation. (I get minecart computation just fine, but item scatter on fortress retire makes them impractical for setting up contraptions for use in adventure mode.)

Water normally vanishes as well, I believe, though a self-filling system would work.  Lead minecarts behind locked doors aren't a bad idea either, as scatter is based on weight of item and also ease of pathing.  Heavy items in closed caves don't scatter.

I would love a video of how to penetrate aquifers. Or how to make basic structures, like archer towers and such. I don't need the latter, but it'd be a good thing to have for others.

Would like a vid which has various water and lava projects/machines. How to build them and optimizations you could do on them in terms of fps. Because damn those things done wrong is a drain.
