The ghoul fell to the ground and immediatelly began to dissolve. Hissing accompanied the bubbling of the green organic goo. Sulphuric fumes assaulted the nostrils of nearby people.

There was nothing on the goo that remotely resembled the shard, though.

"Ah, you destroyed it already?" The Prince sounded somewhat.. dissappointed.

Objectives:
Find the shard.

Irios continued to lay on the ground.

"That was... rather unexpected," he mumbled to himself.

Aur clanked over to (6,2), ignoring the puddle of once-ghoul and applies some Vulnerary to Irios.

"Hey, you okay? That thing got you pretty bad from the looks of it."

"Ugh, you shouldn't have put yourself at risk like that. You are our only healer. "

Kerr knelt down next to the downed healer and carefully placed some of the medicine he carried on the man's wound, careful not to let our touch his own skin during the process.

[F.O.E.]

Irios pulled himself into a sitting position as the medicine began to heal his wounds, his hood falling back in the process.

"It's your fault Rainbow, you put yourself at risk."

[Xanmyral]

"That's sorta our job though, to take the risk for the people who can't or shouldn't. Its why we wear the armor and try to be in front." Aur was satisfied with the patch job given the priest, moving back.

[GiglameshDespair]

Ayzebel rounded the corner, hearing the talking... was Irios injured?!

She rounded the corner at a sprint, skidding to a stop by Irios.

"Irios!"

[F.O.E.]

"It's also my job to make sure that people like you don't bite it," Irios retorted.

And then Ayzebel rushed around the corner.


Shit, better act like I'm fine.

"I'm fine Ayzebel, just felt the need for a quick nap."

[Xanmyral]

"Deflecting brings you nothing, but what's done is done. Let's just be happy nobody got seriously hurt, yeah?" The would-be-knight sighed and shook his head, not seeing a point in arguing with him.

He turned to the newcomer. "He'll be fine. Ghoul got a good hit on him but we got him back on his feet, so to speak. Anyway, Kerr, let's make sure the ghoul was alone." At that he went off the scout further head, finding little more than the large door.

Giuseppina held her nose for a moment, taking a little while to quiet her guts from the aftermath of that... thing's STENCH. Nonetheless, she did manage to get herself composed, and with the area FINALLY, it seemed, cleared, she managed a grin.
:"Hey, we're almost done, aren't we!"

"...a nap? W-" and then the knight spoke, and her eyes narrowed. "I told you to be careful, you big lunk. I was worried." She crouched down next to him. "Can you stand?"

If looks could kill, the glare Irios sent at Aur for mentioning he'd been hurt would've left the man dead, unexplainable magical healing powers or not. As he turned to Ayzebel he bowed his head slightly.

"Sorry, I underestimated how strong and fast that ghoul was."

"And yes, I should be able to stand, mind lending me a hand?"

[Swordstar]

Shaking his head, Kerr called out to Aur,

"I'll be right behind you. Also, miss, shouldn't you be looking for the shard? I believe they found a room over there with a chest in it. The sooner we find that, the quicker we can return to where it is safe."

Walking over to the prince, Kerr grinned slightly.

"Looks like you didn't get to see much action today, huh? Good thing too. We've got to keep you safe after all."

The grin spread more at that final line into a teasing smirk as the soldier suspected exactly how the prince would respond.

Suddenly slightly shy, she offered her hand to help him stand.
"J...just be careful." she muttered, her train of thought disrailed as she fought not to smile.

She held on for a moment before starting slightly and letting go.

"I'll go find that chest, then."

And so she went and unlocked the chest.
