Well I hope no one else's claims are being taken at face value, because if they are, I will be quite miffed in addition to being disappointed.

Fake claim is for my own protection, hidden message is to prevent accusations of me making up my actual claim on the spot. Why is this so hard to understand? This is not a town private topic, stop treating it like one. If there are scum or an sk, they are here reading all this, and flabort has outed me to them, both of us in the unlikely event of dumbtown.

I'm not insulted about the questioning. My only problem is flabort, who started the questioning in the first place. We would not be having this conversation had it not been for his decision to call me out. I cannot believe that was both a sound decision and a town-motivated decision. My reasoning is in a previous post but if you want I could pointlessly repeat myself.

What, and I suppose naked claims are the most concrete of proofs here?

PEdit:
ugh thank you for ninja, I'm getting tired and it's like three in the morning, also that is a soft if ive ever seen one, i havent seen you do anything scummy up to this point besides ignoring the giant ball of doc fakeclaim outing but im assuming you're going to go through the posts chronologically. night guys, dont shorten if there are shortens because if scum-equivalent quicklynches *yadda yadda i'm so mad sorry*

EBWOP addendum thing
we have three cops, tds said maybe they differ in sanity
also, just a theory, but peradon is scum for not having the same role as osg and tds by commenting on how the two had the same role and that was "slightly odd"
the two roleblockers are basically game-verified unless shenanigans or one of the rb'er-rb'ed pairs is scum
oh oops osg's wasn't a softclaim because TDS said his osg investigation turned up protector. wait actually it is useful because of the question of cop sanity, eliminates two out of five choices for tds's sanity
flabort's push on me is the scummiest thing, please just look at the top of page 16 (assuming you do 15 posts/page, anyways just read the whole thing actually). just LOOK at it.

. I cannot believe that was both a sound decision and a town-motivated decision. My reasoning is in a previous post but if you want I could pointlessly repeat myself.
A sound decision? Maybe not, because now the scum know what I am because when I called you for lying, you outed my role. So one of the results of it are that scum (if any exist) know what I am now.

Town-motivated? Hell yeah, it's a town's responsibility to point out any contradictions and catch anyone who's lying, especially if they panic when pointed at.

Well I hope no one else's claims are being taken at face value, because if they are, I will be quite miffed in addition to being disappointed.

Fake claim is for my own protection, hidden message is to prevent accusations of me making up my actual claim on the spot. Why is this so hard to understand? They're not. Why do you think we started gathering information as to who was targeting who? So that we could cross-check and compare so that if anybody tried to lie about their targets or role, we'd catch them. Checks and counter-checks.

Fake claim is cowardly, and yes for your own protection against any vigilantes. A town-aligned doctor would keep his yap shut instead of risking being policy lynched. Hidden messages are really easy to make up on the spot after the fact if you use numbers as big as 14; it's a bullshit claim, not breadcrumbing. The rest of the message doesn't make sense if you continue; "DOC WSN..." Yeah, tell me, what does the rest of that mean? Or does only the first word matter? I can do it too; your most recent post, every seven letters skipping doubles:

ok what seriously? that's it? i'm going to sleep unless i get ninja'd by deus.
"Slip Gs"
See, I have no idea what that means, but you can easily make up breadcrumbs that way. So I call bullshit on your hidden messages being to prevent this very situation. Oh, and I'm thinking "Gs" stands for "Guys", as in "Please make a slip so that I look less scummy, Guys".

We know this is not a private topic just for town, but it's the only place town have to talk. It's a place where any lies you tell get exposed, and votes get cast. You also wouldn't need to fake breadcrumbs, or even make real ones, if it were a private topic.

Look, we have three claimed cops, two claimed roleblockers, and two claimed doctors. That leaves two unclaimed spots. I have a theory that there is three of each of the claimed roles, and one of each is scum with access to some group kill(s), which would mean there's likely another doc; as unlikely as that theory is, we still know a lot about what people have claimed already. And this only being day 2, I'd be willing to take one for the team and die to scum if it meant taking out a scum; trading town's pawn for scum's knight, or rook, or something. And we're not the only claimed power-role that could potentially find scum: they also want to kill cops and roleblockers, which there are five of!

PlayerGamer said that I was correct. So I am probably sane, at least for finding powers.
As long as PG isn't lying, yes, OSG is probably a sane cop. We need another layer of confirmation to consider you confirmed.

That's not fair you called player gamer town in 242 without explaining why.

Mainly to establish where I stand. Mostly because writing paragraphs is annoying. And less relevantly to gauge whether others agree or disagree. Never expected people to want to be spoon fed. Tl;dr(?) get your own reads. When I feel comfortable pushing someones lynch I will.

I don't know, maybe you could have thought ahead? What exactly was I supposed to do in that situation? Fakeclaim again? You would have just yelled "LAIIIIIIIIISE" again. I am saying you wouldn't have poked the ant's nest if you had both known what was inside and known what was good for yourself. Was the chance to take credit for outing the lie so mesmerizing that you forgot the rest of the game?

No, it is town's responsibility to lynch scum and to prevent scum from getting kills. Pointing out contradictions generally leads to scum, but that is, well, only in general. Town can lie, both docs and BPs have to fakeclaim lest they lose all their role utility.

Well at least this isn't as complete of a clusterfrag as I thought it was. Good job guys. So amazing.
Cowardly? What does that have to do with anything? Are you just bandying about negative words now?
Oh stars, this is getting ridiculous WHY would I WANT to be vigged.
Stay silent? Do you mean I could have told you that I wasn't lying after you first accused me? Look me right in the avatar eyes, bro, and tell me that you intended to back down if I'd said I wasn't lying.

stop crusading against lies and start playing the game, please. It was a very standard, very logical procedure that you blew up by sticking to your arbitrary rules, if you are town here.

You are setting yourself up to not look suspicious when you aren't nk'd. And you wouldn't be nk'd because you are scum. And simultaneously presenting yourself as a selfless, self-sacrificing player who couldn't possibly be scum, when the biggest thing you've done today was either scum play or selfishly not thoughtful.

Counter-example: If you are insane cop, then mechanics-wise you WILL see the opposite alignment from what the actual is. The mod can truthfully tell you this flipped result, because it IS what you see, mechanics-wise.

@roo: are you saying you weren't roleblocked by PG? I'm pretty sure you sad you ere roleblocked at least.
@osg: How do you know if PG was town with your investigation if you investigated his ABILITY and not his allegiance?

Non-sane cops don't always report the opposite of the truth. They can also see the truth 50%, 75%, or a different portion of the time.

Well yeah. There's different kinds of insanity, plus the type that always sees inno, and the type that always sees guilty, and the completely random result type.
uh
what was the point of this discussion.
