OK, now your judgement is lapsing. All I said is that the ability was not bulletproof, and that you were lying. I never said you had to be a doctor, nor did I ever actually say doctor anywhere.

And I don't see any reason why a towny, doctor or not, should ever fake claim - refrain from claiming, sure. Fakeclaiming is something that I believe only scum should and would do.

And for that matter, town should refrain from OMGUS, which is what you did.

EBWOP:
Also, look at everyone else's reactions to when I voted them so far. The mostly ignored it or brushed it off. You went cray-cray and started vehemently defending yourself.

EBWOP 2:
Defending yourself by attacking my mafia experience and pointing out breadcrumbing, at that, which does not exactly make sense or seem town to me.

Stop misrepping, my vote and 'cray-cray' reaction was not a reaction to your vote. I reacted to your rather low-utility fishing of me: you knew my role! There was no need for town!flabort to call me out: it's fairly standard where I come from to fakeclaim as BP when doc, and doc as BP, and even if this is not usual here, it should be understandable. Not claiming is an invitation for people to come poking at you.

My BP fakeclaim ensures could have ensured no scum roleblocks or night-kills on me. I know I could have just backed down if you were town, but there was no reason for me to believe that you were indeed town, as explained above. Don't you try and throw shade on me with that 'other people just brushed off my vote', other people didn't think you were scum.

You are twisting the narrative: if you did in fact know what my ability was and decided to call me out anyway, then you wouldn't stop until I gave you the same thing, I could have claimed anything other than a doc and you'd still hound me. There's just no reason for town to point out both docs on the grounds of lying, of which this instance was pro-town.

So yeah, I want your ass lynched.

PEDIT:
Now your misrep is getting ridiculous. When in this femtoeternity did I say your mafia experience was lacking? I said you were definitely not a newbie, and certainly should have known to just leave the fakeclaiming doc the hell alone. And are you trying to put an alignment on crumbing? It's just there so I have something to throw at counterclaiming scum, or a disbelieving town.

For Andromeda's sake, calling out a fakeclaiming doctor-equivalent is indeed a lapse in judgement, moreso since you should know why I fakeclaimed, seeing as you have the same role ability.

I spelled out 'dwarf' with this post and the four previous ones, now go back and look at my 'd' post: I crumbed 'doc' by putting the letters every 17 letters in that post.

Does this mean that role PMs are truthful, correct? The only lies would be lies of omission?

Why on earth would anyone be looking out for something like that?

People aren't meant to see it. It's a doc claim.

...so, you hid a claim in your fake claim that no one was meant to see, but you could point it out later and that would make it more believable?

Is this going to be a problem? Drop the unbelieving act and tell me exactly why you think this is a problem.

I'm going to say that it's a problem because it's really easy to fake something like that. The other problem is your reaction; you got extremely defensive very quickly. For these reasons, I'm also going to vote Dani for now.

I hate breadcrumbing, as a general rule. It's too easy to lace everything you say with claims, and then only come out with one role. I think Dani is looking a bit suspicious.

*points at flabort's also completely unverifiable claim (mechanics-wise, anyway)*

do you people just straight up sheep the most composed guy in the room?

show me my extra claims.

....that's my point, Dani. I can't, because literally anything you said could have a claim breadcrumbed in. It's too hard to trust something like that.

You vote me, yet refuse to act on your suspicion of me. Why do I feel like I shifted into a parallel troll logic universe when I traveled to the province? And that's the only thing you say is "suspicious" about me. Your votes are all patently incomprehensible right now.

It's about a day until deadline. My stance on flabort doesn't change. Feel free to ask me about that, instead of ducking the issue.

Well, let's start with the obvious question of what you were trying to achieve with your fake claim and hidden message, then move on to why you're acting so insulted that people are questioning you about a fake claim. And yes, I am disbelieving that you think a three letter hidden message is meant to convince anyone of anything.

I am a cop who can either see the target's allegiance, or their role powers.
You have to choose one or the other? Like you can either investigate a target's allegiance but won't see their role power, or vice versa?
Correct. I didn't think that Avengers were the actual scum, so I decided to check role powers.
